Great Front Desk Staff
Pros:

Front desk staff was very professional, pleasant, and friendly. Room 424 had been newly renovated so furnishings were in great shape. The room was clean and cool. There was a mini fridge (worked great) and a microwave. There were also plenty of outlets on the table between the beds. The bathroom featured a tub/shower combo. The floor of the tub/shower was EXTREMELY slippery and was even more so when there was soap on it; however, there was a grab bar on the shower wall to use for safety. There was no anti-slip mat. Water pressure was okay. The hotel featured a complimentary hot breakfast in the mornings and there was a small market near the front desk. The hotel also offered complimentary parking. They did bill me an additional two times for my room despite my having prepaid for my room. They corrected their errors soon after although it took several days for my credit card company to clear the credits through my credit card. The hotel was conveniently located off SPID between Staples and Airline.

Terrible experience – poor conditions and no management support
Pros:

Very disappointing stay.
The room had a very bad smell. The carpets were stained and there was a strong musty odor, like humidity. It made the room feel very dirty and uncomfortable.

The bathroom door was broken, so there was no privacy when using the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel room.

What made the experience even worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of helping or offering a solution, he showed very little interest in resolving the problem.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

My son is going to school there, will stay there when im there to visit.

Very disappointed. It was summed up by staff management that it was due to remodeling and those rooms were done yet

Room carpet was disgusting 🤮 and made the room smell gross. The bathroom sink was completely clogged and the ac was set to 65 but not 🥶!!

Worst Hampton Inn ever.
Pros:

I have family in Corpus Christi and have stayed in hotels there off and on for the past 20+ years. This was absolutely the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in and worst hotel in CC I’ve stayed in. Frig didn’t work. Room phone didn’t work. The carpet and lamp shades were incredibly filthy. Front desk lady was apathetic and not helpful. Will never stay there again.
