the room was very large and comfortable but expected with price paid in a country town. Staff very helpful. Short walk to town centre which we don't mind qe like to walk
Unfortunately the end of road works were still happening but as we left all was being taken down

The food and service in the cafe and restaurant were 5 star quality.
The best steak,cooked to perfection with a brilliant pepper sauce.
Maybe the shower could have a retainer at a lower. Level as it is too high for the shorties.

It was supposed to be luxurious but we were in a motel unit out the back. Expensive for a motel unit with basic bathroom.
We had a one night stay at the Carrington and we were very impressed with our stay.
The room was large, clean, very comfortable and extremely quiet.
I ordered room service because we arrived after 7pm and didn’t feel like going into the restaurant after a long day travelling. The gnocchi with slow cooked lamb shank was 100%! It was the best I’ve had.

Great location. King bed was super comfy. Good-sized, clean room and bathroom. Huge, good quality TV.
The restaurant/bar was beautifully appointed and the staff friendly. My husband forgot his toothbrush and the lady at reception very kindly provided him a new one at no cost.
There was a mini bar manu but no mini bar items apart from one bottle of water. There were only two coffee pods. We were only staying one night and arrived quite late in the day so one espresso each in the morning was OK but I think a couple more would not have gone astray. Having said that, I'm sure if we had asked at reception we could have got more!
Luxury, absolutely top tier Hotel. Could have been in the Hamptons. Everything exudes elegance and quality
