Nice sized rooms but too close to the dumpster bin
Pros:

Location very near SAM

Cons:

The property wasn’t very full so it was weird that we were put in the second last room down the drive. What made it worse was that we were right next to the dumpster bin and noisy Ibis were fighting and squawking all the time!

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Quiet, clean and space to sit. Blanket given as alternative to the doona.
Short walk to community club for dinner

Disappointing and will not be coming back.
Pros:

Good location close to SAM and easy access to the lake area and local sights.

Cons:

Looks like it has had a partial facelift, mainly the bathroom and new bedroom furniture.

The bathroom tiles into the shower were slippery and slopped. The king size bed is two beds that are supposed to be zipped together, but were not. Not comfortable.

Staff were not really engaged, especially at checkout.

None of the staff asked me anything about my stay, so I decided to leave my comments here.

Loved our stay, staff were professional and friendly. Food was exceptional.
Pros:

Breakfasts were superb and the restaurant beautifully situated overlooking the lake.

Would like to have stayed longer!!!!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations and made the stay very enjoyable.
Pros:

I arrived several hours earlier than check in and asked if i could drop my bag. My room was ready so they let me check in early which was lovely. Room was wonderful and area was quiet. Only 'issue' was the gym was locked and no idea how to access with no staff onsite.

Pros:

The room was really well presented and clean. The restaurant and cafe was outstanding and had great ambience. The location across the lake made it even more enjoyable.

Enjoyed Our One-Night Stay
Pros:

Spacious unit and very comfortable. We have stayed here before and find the experience a step above other local alternatives. Very fine dining opportunities and plenty of off street parking at the rear. A regular stopover whenever we pass this way.
