Hampton Inn Customer Service,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent reservation.
I had a confirmed reservation through Booking.com, but on the day of my arrival, I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled. I immediately called the hotel and was informed that, due to a maintenance issue, I would be relocated to another property.
While I understand that unexpected situations can happen, I find it unacceptable that my confirmed reservation was not honored. What made the situation even worse was the hotel I was relocated to. The property was significantly below the quality I expected from Hampton Inn. The room had a strong odor of smoke, was in poor condition, and I genuinely did not feel safe staying there.
Because of the smell, I developed a headache and was unable to get a good night’s sleep. This experience fell far below the level of service and accommodations I paid for and expected.
I am requesting a full refund for my stay. Hampton Inn failed to honor my confirmed reservation and relocated me to a hotel that compromised both my comfort and my sense of safety. This was an extremely disappointing experience and not what I expected from a brand with Hampton Inn’s reputation.
I would appreciate your prompt review of this matter and look forward to your response and a fair resolution.

I wish I could remember the young lady that greeted me upon arrival she was the sweetest and friendliest

Cons:

Shower head was not great and our room was not cleaned well. They had toys from previous guests under the beds and toiletries were not fully replaced.

Pros:

It was clean and near Sam’s.

Cons:

My room wasn’t available upon arrival over 2 hours of 3pm check/in time, however the desk clerk problem solved and overcame the issue.
