Everything was awesome
The room was great. The staff was great. The breakfast was off the chain Miss Diane thank you so much for your courteous awesome welcoming, inviting conversation and of course your grits was awesome thank you thank you thank you we shall be returning and hopefully you will still be there serving up your grits everything was wonderful. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. It was truly a bless

There wasn’t much about the visit there that we did not like understandably the construction but outside of that everything was just wonderful thank you all so much

The stay was fair.

Housekeeping not great. Room was never cleaned during our stay. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper twice.

Cons:

Only complaint was housekeeping kept skipping our room. We had to ask twice for cleaning and additional towels during our stay. The first time, we went down to the front desk who came up and brought us more towels and the second time we asked, we spoke to staff member on the floor who sent someone up, we got the additional towels but beds weren't made.

Pros:

Breakfast was not at all what I expected. The eggs was some type of Mexican omelette but it seemed prepared elsewhere. Not many options to choose from. The breakfast didn’t match the room price!

Cons:

The smell. At times I thought it was the Paper Mill, when I went outside the smell wasn’t in the air. I believe it was the hotel plumbing. I also didn’t like the traveling workers to be allowed to grill in the parking lot. The charcoal smell spread throughout the room.

Thanksgiving joy
Pros:

The location was great easy access to I 20,the mall, and restaurants. Cynthia in the kitchen was very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. She delivered service with a smile. you could tell she had a heart for Service. Tara at the front desk honored my request instantly it was overall a great experience.

Quick stop before getting back on the road
Pros:

We stayed here as we were traveling across the US and stopped here mainly due the reviews on here. We traveled an extra hour on our day to get to Monroe due to concerning reviews in other places of LA. This hotel was extremely clean, great value and while I booked the cheapest king size room, it was incredibly spacious, great smart TV, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a complete hot breakfast (omelets, waffles) and the evening and morning staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location is a little blah (as in a Sams Club is RIGHT there, not a long of restaurants very close, etc) but for us this was a place to shower, sleep and get back on the road.

OK Spot right off the Interstate
Pros:

Travelling as a family of four we stayed 1 night enroute to Vicksburg to see the historic sites. Situated on the far northeast side of Monroe close to the airport and Sam's Club directly off I-20 highway this is a pretty standard Hampton location with all of the amenities and frills (or lack thereof) you would expect. Breakfast was standard fare and average. The hotel staff was helpful and we are very thankful for their assistance with mailing us back a stuffed toy that was left behind by one of our daughters!
