Best pleace to stay in Da Nang.
Pros:

Ich habe mich sehr wohl im Vanda Hotel gefühlt. Die Angebote wie Pool, Rooftopbar und Spa waren ein Highlight. Bei der Organisation von Wellnessangeboten und Ausflügen haben uns die Angestellten Truc, Tuan und Phuong HK sehr freundlich und kompetent unterstützt. Das ganze Personal war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

A must stay
Pros:

Exceptional hotel that I would highly recommend. We had a room overlooking the Dragon Bridge, beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods for any taste. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. Had cocktails during happy hour each night, great value. Not in the middle of the tourist area but this is what we liked, Lots of eateries around and adored the bridge. Watch from the side not from the front, much better view and you don't get wet and heated. Tried to click on excellent smiley faces for all aspects of the hotel but for some reason it will not work.

Cons:

The only downer we had was when we decided to have a lovely steak meal on the last night. One was lovely and tender, cooked to perfection, the other was full of gristle, inedible. After the lovely stay we can forgive them for this though. The beach was pretty but was closed due to high Rips. Tried to get served at the Japanese place but ended up walking out, another bar down the road was exceptionally pleased to serve us.

Our first day in Vietnam, Viva Da Nang.
Pros:

Central, convenient and it suited our needs for our stay.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The decor some what bland, a little dated but well maintained.

The staff helpful and friendly.

Overall a good Hotel. We would stay again.

Cons:

We had the Hotel arrange a Car for the transfer to Hue. Paid top dollar for the convenience.

The car was dirty and worn. I had to change seats because it was broken and very uncomfortable.

Overall not the best car we hired in our three week stay in Vietnam.

I believe the Hotel could have done a better job of vetting the the car or should change their transport provider. We were not impressed.

The cleaning staff threw away some of my personal belongings which were in a black trash bag but not in or near the trash bin. When I enquired, the staff said they did not.
