Hii-5 Hotel

Window blinds dirty, no safety depot box, poor tv, only one english channel--no english news, no view outside except garbage ,no key card system, combined toilet/shower painful, no fridge or microwave, no luggage storage, noisy room -poor sound proofing

Good location, elevator to suite, reasonably clean, inexpensive

Lobby is nice and comfortable, but the cleanliness in the room is not so well. There are still hairs around the room when we first arrival in the room.

I booked and paid for 4 nights and left on first night.
The room is disgusting. The bed, linen, walls air conditioning unit were very dirty/stained. The coffee mugs provided didn’t appear to have been cleaned. EVER.
The bathroom drain was broken and sticking in an open position where you could see the grossest black sludge in it. The toilet paper holder was in wet shower area and was a soaked, therefore unusable. The dirt on the mildewed air conditioning unit was likely to make people sick and it was directly over you while you were in the bed, involuntarily breathing it in.
The noise from the adjoining rooms was excessive. It sounded like drilling and when I tried to complain about when front desk person brought toilet paper, she didn’t speak English nor understand me, though she heard the noise and knew I was frustrated from it, she did nothing.
As well, quite a few of the other guests in same area would bang on doors, yelling, or carry on loud conversations on their phones in the hallways, all hours of the night.
Additional noise came from the open-air stair well that sounds as if hundreds of birds are nesting in it and the noise is amplified and can be heard clearly in the room. You have to step into this stairwell to reach part of the hotel rooms and hopefully you’re not scared of birds?
The furniture in the lobby was so filthy,
and this is your first impression of the hotel?

Feel secure this hotel uber night time or day also. Catch bus to here, shower (My long height means towel is not big for I. Used sheet to dry). Ein paar mehr mins walked to beach some few moment. Only more minutes to beach. Improve water pressure. Air con power nice. Nice people reception.

I have stay here for 4 nights so what can i say is the place were near to the famous to the saefood centre. All the famous landmark were near just a walk-distance from the hotel. Grab are easy to get here in Kota Kinabalu soo its more convenient for us..

Budget hotel for budget travellers.
Clean room & bath room.
Good location nearby to everything.
Markets, banks, shopping malls.
Gaya street sunday market 10 min walk.
Filipino night market 10 mins walk.
Waterfront bars,clubs,restaurants just 8 to 10 mins walk.
Jesselton point jetty to islands about 15 mins walk (use GRAB if u lazy to walk).

For all this while, this is the best stay that i have. Comfort room with big space. Thanks

convenient location, in the heart of KK and nearby eateries, Waterfront and malls. however you can see that the hotel is getting old, they either need to do a thourough deep cleansing cleaning or renovate again.

Nice hotel with great price! It’s reasonable, even though it’s quite small but it’s not bad for the price.. queen size bed, personal bathroom, tv, kettle & cups..

처음 배정받은 방 이불이 더러워서 교체요청하니, 하우스키퍼가 없어서 방을 바꾸어줌. 바꾼 방은 깔끔하고 수압도 좋았음. 에어컨.엘레베이트는 있지만 냉장고는 없음. 가성비 만족함

Nice Hotel. Good Environment around the City area. Good Place to stay whereby you can find seafood restaurant Such as Welcome Seafood Restaurant, souvenir shop, walking distance to the shopping mall such as the Suria Shopping Mall. Will be back soon for my next trip. Thanks.

Although its cheap there are certain basics missing, cleanliness of the rooms is aswful, the drains in the bathroom kick up a urine smell, the coridoors stink aswell where the fire exit stairs are open to fish resturant below, the two women on reception are rude and unwelcoming.
No wifi in the rooms only in reception.

生活機能便利，距離機場巴士站步行約3分鐘。近市區商圈百貨，入房手續快速便捷，前台24小時都有服務人員。
廁所門有些老舊，底部木頭已腐蝕經常會掉木削。

Saya menginap selama 5 malam dan mengalami pengalaman yang teruk seperti:
1. Aircond berbunyi bising
2. Terrible smell sebab berdekatan dengan tempat pembuangan sampah
3. Tiada kalis bunyi-boleh dengar dengan jelas penghuni di sebelah tekan suis.
4. Tidak mesra pelanggan
5. Susah untuk dapatkan parkir kereta.

I not sure whether i ate too of beef feeling itchy or the bed got bed bug

This is my third stay in Hii 5 Hotel. Is a good environment hotel and is located at City Area.
