Wonderful stay can't wait to book again!
Pros:

My spouse and I rebooked with surf side again to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the stay was lovely. We went on the beach just before sunrise to watch the sun come up and we enjoyed our breakfast in our room and the staff was very friendly all the way up to the end of our stay.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist super sauber, sehr familienfreundlich und hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Die kleinen Extras wie Popcorn, Snacks und Wein und Cookies haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt Handtücher und Strandstühle. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Leider waren zwei Nächte viel zu kurz.

Cons:

Der Indoor Pool könnte vielleicht bisschen renoviert werden. Es war alles funktionstüchtig, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Was very clean, great staff, and loved all the things available like the chairs, beach towels, wine and cheese, cookies, and breakfast! Definitely exceed our expectations.

Our stay was fine but could have been a more pleasant stay with an updated room and elevator service
Pros:

Breakfast was very good.
Really needs some updates such as remodeling of room, and bathroom.

Cons:

Room was very dated and needed remodeling.
Had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to room as there was no elevator. Hard to do often during the day.

Pros:

Location was amazing. Free parking was wonderful. Staff kept the rooms and hallways meticulously clean. Room was spacious.

Cons:

Size of the pool and speed of elevator. Bathroom was cramped. Breakfast was free and appreciated, but was average.

Loved our mini vacation...would go back.

Great location, Fantastic breakfast, Wonderful staff!!

Cons:

A/C in the room was extremely noisy...made it hard to sleep even when put on low. Safe didn't work - maintenance never came to fix it. Even though it was a nonsmoking hotel, people smoked in the garage and it smelled all over.

At 71 I would have liked an elevator in the second building. Main building had one.

Book it! We are glad that we did.
Pros:

What a treasure on the beach at Nags Head. The property was clean, had great staff members. Breakfast was great and well prepared. It was beyond the usual hotel breakfast and served with a smile. The hotel provides beach chairs for guests.

Cons:

We didn't find anything lacking!

A lovely beach-front stay for our family vacation
Pros:

The room was spacious, had very nice linens and the housekeeping staff were efficient and friendly. There were multiple hot items offered at breakfast which was great. The pool area was really nice. The entire hotel was kept very clean overall.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there weren't any gluten-free offerings during the happy hour or in the evening for cookies at 8pm. I have a son who has Celiac disease so he couldn't have anything offered. It would have been nice to have GF options.
