Location. Lake view
No breakfast
Lovely people and location
Expensive for a hotel
The location
I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again, but they could easily change a few things and earn a 10. I admit these are minor complaints. They don’t have breakfast. The closet (at least in my room) was small and had insufficient hangers. No full-length mirror (in fact no mirror except in the bathroom). There isn’t much drawer storage for non-hanging items. They don’t offer even optional housekeeping which is unfortunate in a premium-priced hotel.
Overall, however, the experience was positive. The staff was lovely, the location is convenient, and the beds and bedding are comfortable.
Good location. Comfortable room
My room was close to the bar on the top floor. A little noisy but not for too long.
Timeless beauty on the shore of Lake Superior. The Crow’s Nest (nice bartender!) offered a sweeping vista of the majestic lake and the iconic Ore Dock. The Landmark Inn is the preeminent hotel in the Upper Peninsula. Bravo!
What an awesome place. They were very welcoming and pet friendly. Made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. Room was amazing on site bar was great. Close to some great restaurants and shops.
I am from Marquette. I love this building and have memories of it as the old Heritage House Hotel. The location is the best, the staff are amazing and went above and beyond for me this trip. My father passed away, and I was an exhausted wreck. They were wonderful. I love this place
The staff, location, history, ambiance, top floor cocktail lounge is fantastic, and of course the view of Lake Superior.
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Very comfortable, clean and pleasant.
Anytime we have the chance to stay here it’s always a good stay. The location is perfect close to our daughter’s house. The room is cozy and the views are beautiful. The eclectic atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant employees, to the crows nest bar with views - just adds so much value - we keep coming back! The Spring sale was such a great incentive to book this weekend. We will definitely be back!
This property was in a convenient location for our granddaughter's graduation from NMU.
It was rather expensive ... and there was no breakfast.
Some of the staff felt cold and unwelcoming, and it seemed as though requests or placing an order were an inconvenience to their day. The window in my room did not latch properly, causing constant noise. The walls are very thin, and I could clearly hear other guests through them. Overall, I do not feel the added cost was worth the stay.
The rooms were very spacious. I appreciated the staff. The hotel was quiet and accommodating.
