Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

I would definitely come back. The location is perfect and calm. The room are beautiful and the staff is nice.
Pros:

Beautiful old Peranakan house . Big rooms, all different and with nice vintage furniture. Spacious and Brand new bathroom

Cons:

Nothing, frankly I excellent value for money

Pros:

Beautiful old mansion. I got the room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. Clean, spacious and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice local breakfast. Great location, close to the action but still quiet. Walking distance to Jonker street and eateries.

Cons:

Towel is old.

Pros:

The staff are very warm, and friendly. Room is clean with peranakan style. The location is nearly perfect.

Cons:

Some details could be further improved. E.g., the air-con outdoor compressor units can be mounted on elastic (rubber) feet, so as to mitigate the noise from them.

A great stay.
Pros:

Beautiful traditional Chinese house with all the furniture to match. Like a stay in history. Extra large room, friendly staff. Breakfast (English) good but basic, the only slight criticism.
Excellent location in old city with many excellent eating places close by.

Cons:

More choice for English breakfast.

Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the room was very spacious. The staff is very welcoming and try to do his best to serve you. The location is perfect,near jonker walk. Breakfast very good.

Clean and comfy. Operational and service need some improvement.

I like the location and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Cons:

I didn't like some of the operation of the hotel. A simple thing eg: mineral water. They only provide a small bottle of mineral water for us. When we asked for more, they told us that we are supposed to pay extra for it.

They should also provide umbrellas for customers to use in case of rainy days.

現地の歴史ある建物で快適に宿泊出来ました。
Pros:

建物の雰囲気、スタッフサービスどれも非常に良かったです。　広くはないけれどroof top gardenで心地良い風を感じました。

Cons:

非常にワガママなのですが、もう少しStadthuysに近ければ。。とは感じました。　ヒーレン通りは静かな通りで、人通りもそれほど多くないので夜はちょっと気になりました（舗道が整備されてないので夜道は足許が危険！）。
エレベーターは無くすべて階段使用ですので注意が必要でしょう。
またヒーレン通りにはHereenと名の付くホテルが林立していますので気をつけてください。
