Pros:

Bon hôtel, bien situé. Chambres assez spacieuses, on bien apprécié le service et notamment le petit encas de l'après midi. Nous avons déploré le bruit de la climatisation, heureusement nous avions des boules quies .....on déplore aussi la saleté de la plage mais l'hôtel n'y est pour rien.

Pros:

When we first arrived and were standing out the front we thougt oh no what have we gotten ourselves into, but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large and clean, air conditioners worked great and the pool was beautiful. So much value for money. But to my kids disappointment there were no Tv's, which i loved.

Pros:

3 nachten verbleven. We hadden het iets luxer verwacht vanwege de recensies maar vonden deze zelf iets minder. Kan ook komen door de sfeer die er was. Na de eerste nacht waren de meeste andere gasten weg. Echt laagseizoen. Grootste deel van het personeel was niet heel vriendelijk en gemotiveerd (op een jonge jongen van de ochtend staf na). Er is wel snachts iemand aanwezig. Dat is een fijn idee! Zwembad is ook heel erg mooi. Goede en ruime kamer ook alleen er werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt. Nieuwe wc-rollen moest je bijv. om vragen maar was allemaal geen probleem. Airco was prima als hij een tijdje aan stond alleen veel lawaai. Ontbijt was heel goed!

Disappointing
Pros:

We have stayed at Chonos a few times as it’s location is good. Over the years it has deteriorated and looks old and grubby in many areas.
An example is the hairdressing area. Dusty shelves with rubbish like stuff in them, junk around. Nothing is smart and tidy and clean and inviting.
The rooms have had no upgrade in many years. The owners need to take a step back and look at the whole place with a critical eye.

Chonos is Great!
Pros:

Very quaint hotel that combines the traditional Bali design with modern convenience. Very nice staff that who aim to please and very friendly. The pool and surroundings are quiet and comfortable.
