Gym closed. Pool closed. Hotel very tired chipped paint not clean
Location and gardens were great.
Looked a bit shabby throughout the stairs and hallway. Carpet a bit threadbare. Had to ask for a room change as ceiling had water stains on it and a massive bulk head that you could hit your head on. After speaking to reception we were offered a room change which was much better.
Gorgeous building and grounds - with plenty of parking.

Breakfast was good. Shower gel and shampoo were luxurious. Bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was good. Staff was very pleasant.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helped with inquiries. The area was very quiet. The hotel is easy to reach by car and there is ample parking space.

Comfy beds, a lovely garden and cold air con for a refreshing stay in a heat wave. Nice breakfast.
Complimentary water bottle was warm, it would be a nice touch to store it in the fridge.
