Great hotel.
Pros:

The setting is beautiful and it has a great beach. The rooms are nice with lots of small touches. The breakfast is really good. We really liked it.

Cons:

The front desk staff are nice, but they don’t try to hard to help. They seem to do the minimum.

Lovely concept and people, but overpriced.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast as well as the lunch and dinner options were great and we loved being right at the beach. We also enjoyed using the fitness and wellness area and liked that there was a kitchenette in the apartment.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable – the mattress was very hard and just laid on a slap of stone and constantly shifted out of place. There were also some other things (e.g., the front door of the apartment had a huge gap) where the quality of things did not match our expectations based on the price of the accommodation and compared to other places we stayed at during our 3 weeks on the Açores.

This stay was relaxing, luxurious, carefree and very beautiful.
Pros:

Complementary breakfast was delicious, the entire property is so gorgeous and all of the rooms have excellent views, the staff was so accommodating and very friendly!

Cons:

You had to make a reservation to use the fitness center. I would have preferred to be able to go whenever I felt like it without planning ahead but that is really my only complaint.

Seaside stay in february was a highlight of our trip!
Pros:

We booked for one night as we were visiting around the island. We ended up staying for two nights as we loved the view, the service, the huge king bed, the artisanal decor of the hotel, the easy parking and the location which was so close to most everything we wanted to do and see at the end of our trip. It was sunny everyday we were there and being able to relax on the sun deck and hot tub while looking out to the sea was a highlight of our trip. I will definitely be back!
