Garda is a beautiful town and Villa Anthea is a very well located family run hotel. Staff and owners go out of their way to make it a home from home, very helpful and always with a smile, big shout out to Radu and his sense of humour, he did make us laugh 😁
Room was a bit on the small side but who spends all day in the room, small balcony but able to fit two small chairs on.
All areas very clean and nice toiletries and pool bags provided on request.
QR code made easy request for snacks and drinks, served to you on the terraces if you wished.
Fabulous breakfast, lots of choice, all freshly prepared, homemade cakes too and replenished quickly.
Lovely relaxing outside areas to sit and chill and chat to other guests or enjoy the pool as you wish, not noisy and not too busy either to say hotel was fully booked, could always get a sunbed.
Had a fabulous stay, would definately recommend Villa Anthea, (
but quietly as it is a hidden gem😁 )

Cleanliness was exceptional, staff really helpful and our room (207) was great in terms of size and view.

We stayed at Villa Anthea in the first week of June 26, and it was tremendous. The rooms are slightly smaller than expected, and the balcony hasn't really enough room for two people, but those are the only very minor negatives in an otherwise great stay.

Clean, well equipped room, with all you would expect from a modern hotel - WiFi, safe, TV, USB sockets etc. Ultimately, we spent little time there as the pool and outside lounge areas are so lovely just to sit and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The addition of QR codes, where drinks and snacks are delivered to you outside are icing on an already delicious cake.

Breakfast leaves nothing wanted for. From fresh fruit to pancakes to pastries to bacon and eggs there is everything you could ask for, and they are constantly refilling the containers which means the food is consistently fresh and hot.

The hotel is minutes from the lake, and the wee back streets where there are loads bars and restaurants.

Every member of staff we spoke to was pleasant, helpful, and everyone seemed happy to be there, which is a sign of a healthy work environment.

* velmi příjemná a vstřícná obsluha (veškerý personál hotelu), schopná mluvit několika jazyky (recepční na 100%), s klidem a trpělivě vysvětlí vše potřebné ohledně ubytování i odjezdu a kdykoli je ochotná poradit s cestováním, restauracemi, ...
* dostupný výtah a celkově celý hotel umožňuje pohyb i ubytování i lidem se zraněním nebo zdravotním hendikepem
* hydromasážní bazén je příjemným zpestřením pobytu v době siesty
* k dispozici bar s donáškou k bazénu
* výborné snídaně formou bufetu
* v době našeho ubytování byl v hotelu i okolí naprostý klid
* hotel je kousek od centra a promenády kolem jezera
kde do 50ti metrů je dobrá restaurace Pegasus i malý krámek
* možnost parkování je trojího typu, kde pokud nemá člověk problém s chůzí, tak zdarma do 700m metrů, pak podobná vzdálenost v placené podzemní garáži s lepší ochranou a nakonec o malinko dražší možnost parkování ve dvoře za hotelem, což ale vyžaduje nemít příliš velké auto a nebát se parkovat nepatrně natěsno, ale pro ty, kteří mají problém s chůzí a chtějí vyrážet autem na výlety dobrá možnost

A lovely family-run hotel with a real personal touch. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice each morning. The pool isn’t huge, but that’s not really the focus of this type of holiday, so it was perfectly adequate for relaxing and cooling off.
The owners were genuinely lovely, friendly, and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

The swimming pool and bar were small but very nice.

Sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbufet. Geräumige Zimmer. Alles sehr sauber. Super freundliches Personal. Kosteloser Parkplatz für Hotelgäste in ca. 600m Entfernung. Zum Ein- und Auspacken konnte aber problemlos vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Promenade und den Gässchen mit den vielen kleinen Geschäften und Lokalen entfernt.
