This is the third year my daughter and I have been to Hotel Coronado - planning a fourth!! - we cannot fault this deservedly 5 star hotel. Food is brilliant, rooms are spacious and spotless and all the staff friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The location is wonderful offering beautiful pool area and a pretty beach area in a peaceful area with beautiful views.
Location, view, breakfast, pools, staff and service was absolutely wonderfull, but the bed was to hard, did not sleep well, and the chairs on the rooms balcony was uncomftable and the balcony light at night was very bright, and for thoose reasons would we not return another time
Location is amazing , rooms super clean , easy access to parking . Pool is very neat and clean . Only one thing they need to improve breakfast has no variety it’s poor
The Hotel Coronado in Mallorca is far from a five star hotel. The room we got was a standard room, incredibly small, not even room for a luggage, which they did not provide.The room had a hot water kettle and cups but no supplies for coffee or tea as usual on even mid range hotels. We asked the housekeeper and was informed that the standard rooms did not get anything of that.
Breakfast was enjoyable on the veranda with water views. The breakfast staff were helpful but some were just rude.
Overall unfriendly staff.
We will not return to the Coronado Hotel or recommend it.
Take note … Also it seems that part of the hotel pools facilities are clothing optional, with no clear signage, and there were children running around in this area.

The junior suite that I booked was on the 1st floor, it had a great view of the sea. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a choice of pillows that you can order from a menu. I loved the adults only pool on level 4 and spent most of my day there sunbathing and reading. The proximity to the beach was also superb. There is a limited shuttle bus service to the nearest town which I did not use, but is handy for travellers. The breakfast dining room also had a fabulous view of the water.
Breakfast was very limited. Even though it had the usual, but the taste was not that great. The location of this hotel is also pretty far out, which was OK with me as I wanted somewhere quiet for deep relaxation. However, the taxi will cost about 50 euros each way from the airport. Taxis are the cheapest way to travel and all you have to do is to get reception to book you a taxi. Ubers are more expensive. On level 6, there is a rooftop view and sundeck chairs, there is a bizarre rule that you have to pay 50 euros for each sundeck chair, when hotel guests are paying 350 euros a night at this hotel. These should come complimentary. Further, complimentary water should be provided each day and not only upon check in.

Fantastic set for this aging not 5 star hotel providing services close to 3 stars. All positive sides of this hotel wasted by poor professionslism of staff, hiding behind rude attitude when they are visible - do not care about the clients even if spending price of luxury suite : being told off like at school canteen by young cook for not telling him that i wanted grilled vegetables with my grilled salmon, waiting
30 minutes for a vermouth which they did not have, waiting 45 mns for food to arrive on your plate, despite 3 waiters avoiding any eye contact, being chased by receptionist for bringing plate of fruit to the room despite having ok from restaurant- all you espect from a would be 5-star hotel for a client paying the most expensive suite for 7 days - I knew from previous experience and friends that Mallorca staff have an attitude issue with arrogance and rudeness - I was hoping it would have been different in a would be 5-star hotel - but not !
Location is absolutely wonderful. The staff called “the crew” is very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast terrace is fabulous. The beach bag with beach towels ready was very useful. Great idea!
