It was a good place to spend the night in walking distance from the airport. Staffs were very helpful.
Nothing to write. The accomodation is worst compare to charge you take.
If anyone is looking to stay here when you have a layover, dont even think about it. There are other options in and around the airport. Rather try Plaza premium lounge.
Sams is Absolutely ridiculous service. The manager has zero hospitality skills, all he wants is ro make money. He made me exit international flights zone where my original booking was just so that i can pay extra and stay at their property which is outside the terminal. After going there asked me to pay higher price, which i agreed to since i was exhausted aftet a long travel.
I agreed to pay the difference amount. He asked me to cancel my previous booking and book a new one as they are different properties for which international credit cards disnt work. Out of frustration when i told him i will checkout then he asked me to pay the difference amount. Seriously it was a torturous experience. I just had to end up sitting in lounge for 9 hours.
And sadly expedia didnt help me enough in this matter.
Upon arrival the double rooms we had booked were not available. They had not reserved our rooms and were double booked. We were given separate single rooms in the mean time but had to wait for over an hour to get the rooms we booked. The rooms were advertised with showers but this is not the case!. It was only a result of booking additional room (for additional family members) did we manage to get shower facilities via the Airport Lounges. However they paid premium prices for this, which in my opinion was not justified.
The single and double rooms were also 15-20 minute walk apart, they are not in the same area of the airport. We did a lot of walking between the 2 areas as a result of the lack of communication from SAMS Snooze. The pods are also very noisy. They are not sound proof. If you are a slight sleeper then don't expect to get a good nights sleep.
Overall experience was OK. The staff were very accommodating under the circumstances. Personally next time may consider alternative options.
This place is only for international transit passengers and not for people from India flying abroad, as it is located near departure gates and you can access this only 3 hours before your flight. This fundamental point is nowhere mentioned at the time of booking and essentially all money goes for a waste. I had booked for 6 hours, but ultimately got to use this only for 30 min as immigration and security took too long to clear. Further this place is in a very noisy area and there is no attempt made by the organizers to shut the people.
There is a lot of traffic and noise around this place. Not worth paying so much.
Sold as a quite space but the ceiling is cloth so you can hear the area around you. Which isn't that bad until someone turns up to unload crates of soft drinks right by the rooms. Why they had to do it there I couldn't understand. Zero apology or effort to be quieter was made after I said I was paying for this space and trying to sleep.
Quite comfortable though. If longer than a 6 hour wait I'd get back and keep my fingers crossed for less noise.
The room was not soundproof
We listened to construction right outside of our room
Very noisy
It was very noisy and had no bathroom, while the price I paid for 7 hours was just slightly less than the Holiday Inn on the 5th floor of the Terminal, which is so much better...
Nothing. Totally bad. Door cannot be closed. It’s just cheating.
They did not let me check in because they are not able to find my booking. I need a refund, what a waste of time. I showed them the booking confirmation but they couldn't find it. This is terrible.
Booked this place only to find out I couldn't access it without an international ticket, as I was flying with a domestic flight the next day. This wasn't clear when I booked it
No staff was available for room access when needed and no key was provoded...room was assigned at the other end of terminal and had to walk all the way to other side to get room access as no one was available to procvide help on the other side.
The location of this facility seems ideal, as it is close to departure gate 17.
I had booked an overnight stay (4 to 5 hours), as I had a 9.5 hour stop over between a domestic flight (Goa to Delhi), and an international flight to London.
The hotel details on Expedia state that check in time was 3pm. I arrived in Delhi at 5pm, so I assumed that I would be able to go to the pod straight away.
However, when I arrived at the airport on a domestic flight, and tried to get through international immigration and security, to be able to get to the sleep pod, I was told by the immigration officer that this wouldn’t be possible until only four hours before departure.
This meant that instead of having 7 or so hours sleep in the pod, I only ended up with two hours.
People need to be aware of this before booking, if connecting between domestic and international flights, so that they are aware of the maximum amount of time they will get in the pod... This may affect their perception of whether the pods give good value for money.
Another thing to note is that the pods don’t have a solid ceiling, so you can always hear noises from the departure gates. I would therefore recommend bringing earplugs if you have them
Actually, the snooze at my place is for snoozing only. Hotels.com misrepresented the package as including a shower and we had to show the email to the attendant to get a shower which we had to walk to the premium package lounge to shower. Only to get there and be told the showers were busy for at least an hour. Attendant had very poor English and tried to accommodate but his hands were tied. We would feel we should get a partial refund but know that is no use to ask for as it won't be given. Just advise to use something else
Very convenient for a few hours of lay over in the airport. Room is very small but a place to lay down and relax. Biggest drawback is that it is very noisy. The ceiling in nothing more than fabric allowing all the noise of the airport into your room.
This is not a enclosed room and hence very noisy facility with barely a sleeping bed and an open roof. No A/C inside room.
Guests are expected to use airport restrooms facility and cannot rely for wake up call on the onduty staff.
This place is awful. I think it stays in business because it's competing with the other option of sitting awake in the Delhi airport all night. The 'room' had no ceiling other than mesh so in terms of sound there is no difference from being in the airport. The beds were of an average comfort but there were no sheets, which did not feel hygienic. I had a sleeping bag liner with me so that was good. The fan was really loud so that was an obstacle to sleeping also. I wish I had just slept on the airport floor and saved my money.
Fantastic facility on my recent trip from Melbourne to London. I had a nine hour layover in Delhi , which Was about 1am oz time and I enjoyed a great six hour sleep , all refreshed for the next leg of my journey. I arrived in London feeling great, certainly no of the dreaded "jet lag". All airports in cities en route to Europe should have this facility. Certainly recommended.
Got a good deal so it was worth for the space and quite good to stretch your legs and take a nap..
