Ideal stop over , very accommodating, very clean.
Pros:

Travelling for work and needed over night stay on return to England, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, nice evening meal and a hearty breakfast. The room was very clean and everything I needed was provided. Great stay thank you.

A very clean and welcoming hotel with great rooms presented to a high standard by fantastic people.
Pros:

The hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms were spacious and well decorated, after a long day travelling the hotel was a welcome sight, and the hotel was a great place to stay, very well presented, and the staff were next level friendly. Food - great, nice and freshly cooked to order from a small menu of tasty food which meant they were able to make fresh for you, breakfast was the same - just a real lovely family run venture - well done. Next time I am in the area this will be the place to go.

Not much.

Cons:

After a long journey in terrible weather it was very, very disappointing to find the restaurant closed at 8pm. Hotel is basic to say the least and not particularly clean. The young girl working both reception and the bar by herself was friendly and helpful enough.

It was OK, but that was all.
Pros:

WE WERE RATHER SURPRISED TO FIND THAT BECAUSE WE BOOKED WITH BOOKING .COM THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE RECEPTIONIST THEN TRIED TO CHARGE US FOR 4 FULL SCOTTISH BREAKFASTS INSTEAD OF TWO FULL SCOTTISH AND TWO CONTINENTAL. We will not use Booking.com again. We felt swindled out of our breakffasts.

not too bad but could have been better
Pros:

Not the best hotel during our tour of scotland. Kept getting moved by staff in the bar in the evening so they could set up for breakfast, Poor choice of drinks at the bar & breakfast was average.

Cons:

Staff should have been more welcoming, friendly & helpful.
Breakfast should have more choice of cereals/pastries.

Great hotel
Pros:

Nice hotel, clean and staff were nice. Food very good. Solo cyclist I could lock my bicycle inside.

Pros:

Nice place on outskirts of Lockerbie.
Clean tidy, essentials covered.
Good breakfast. Loads of free parking

Cons:

Room 18. No drawers in room, just open shelving. TV a neck strain.
Bar always closed (early) when we fancied a drink.
Nearby motorway noisy but hey ho.
