Great quiet stay close to the good stuff!
Pros:

I love the quieter location while being close to everything on offer in Ballarat. Huge King size bed and super comfy.

Budget but clean and tidy. Would recommend it for those who like to 'do their own thing.'
Pros:

It's a budget motel (rather than a hotel) so you get what you pay for (ie no breakfast supplied.) The selling features are:
1. Location: It is diagonally across the road from Sovereign Hill so if you are going there for a day, very convenient. Plus it's only just over a 5 minute drive into Ballarat City central (30 min walk perhaps?)
2. It has a full kitchen incl. oven etc. This is the big winner for my partner and me as we like to cook our own meals if staying for a few days. Many other places only have minimal facilities (kettle, toaster and microwave) but this goes beyond that. It 'punches well above its weight' in this regard esp. judging by the price point they have.

Cons:

Not a problem for me personally but the office has minimal staffing. The office hours noted on the entry door don't match up with staff attendance. I don't mind it, but for people who may prefer to deal with desk staff on arrival, will be disappointed.

Fantastic location. Some amenities require maintenance.
Pros:

Great location & well sized apartment.

Cons:

Rubbish in stair well & in common areas.
Laundry facilities out of order.
Rangehood in kitchen didn't work.
Couches worn out, sunken seating.
Bathroom floor has come away & needs fixing. Shower floods bathroom, maybe a squeegee supplied would help to be able to contain / clean up the water.

Perfect place to stay for a day and night visit to sovereign hill
Pros:

Walking distance to sovereign hill, portable heating kept the place warm you just have to keep it running.

Cons:

Nothing, it was fine for a 2 night stay
