The lady at reception not friendly didn't hardly look at me, I asked if they had a menu for tea and she snapped its in your room, only breakfast menu in room, the lady looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp

Room rather spartan. Dog friendly
No information in the room. Bed very small. Food was mediocre. On the Sunday our chips were oily and soggy and very odd colour. We didn't eat them and they only charged half which was fair.

The accommodation and the food were very basic . The hotel is situated on a busy road .
Price. I guess they say you get what you pay for....
The room was tired. Lacking curtains or any wall decoration picture wise which woukd have jollied the place up a bit. It was a shame because it wouldn't take much to improve the surroundings.Additionally, we paid extra for a '4 poster bed' which turned out to be farcical. We had room 54. I have taken photos to illustrate. If you are working to a strict budget it will suffice as the bedding appeared clean and the bed was relatively comfortable. Room was too warm...I suspect we were over the kitchen or some main heating pipes running under the floor.
I was a good location for the trip we were making
The complex was a bit tired. The rooms could do with some tlc and our bed was broken.

The bathroom in the room will soon need updating.
Good location breakfast was lovely
On arrival staff we not the friendliest it was like it was an inconvenience to check in and get a drink. Although the staff the next morning was lovely and friendly. For 2 adults the bed was very small the bathrooms could do with an update to.

Hotel was easy to find, loads of parking available out of sight of main road. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was pretty good, definitely value for money, I'll stay again
Right on the main road, a duel carriageway, though to be fair you could barely hear the traffic with the window closed.
The ease of getting into Durham.
The room was noisy. We were facing the road and heard every car that drove past all night long. No curtains in our room (56) so we were reliant on blinds and one didn’t close all the way so the bright light right under our window shone into our room all night long.
