Money was stolen from our hotel room

We stayed at Minu Hotel in Fethiye in September.

Unfortunately, during our stay, money was stolen from our hotel room, most likely by a member of the staff.

We had some cash hidden inside our luggage. Despite being well hidden, someone went through our bags. Housekeeping came every day while we were away between 11 a.m. and late afternoon.

The thief didn’t take everything, but stole 500 euros and 100 Canadian dollars. If I wasn’t the type to regularly count my money, I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

To make it clear: I arrived in Turkey with 750 CAD as an emergency fund, untouched. When I checked, I only had 650 CAD left. That money was definitely stolen.

We reported this to the hotel immediately, but we never received any updates.

This is extremely disappointing. Visiting Turkey has always been a dream for us, and we still love the country. But it’s sad to see this kind of behavior from a hotel we trusted.

If you’re planning to visit Fethiye, think twice before booking Minu Hotel.

Petite chambre donnant sur la ruelle commerciale. Pas trop de bruit. l'homme à l'accueil fait le minimum.mais l'emplacement au top au centre de tout, bon petit déjeuner, la femme du matin était très agréable. Je valide

Pros:

Не было информации про отсутствие лифта, с 3 чемоданами без мужчины довольно сложно, учитывая , что ресепшн на 2 этаже, а номера ещё выше, но леди на ресепшн по просьбе организовала людей(на первом этаже расположен магазин) и нам помогли донести багаж, коляску оставили внизу. Выезд был ранним в 6 утра, с собой нам дали сэндвичи, что было очень приятно.

Чистый номер, есть все для комфортного проживания. Были всего одну ночь.

Cons:

Мы были на авто и не было парковки. Так как отель расположен в центре, подумайте заранее о парковочном месте в otoparke , так как в данном районе вы не найдете парковку. Единственно рано утром до 7 утра возможно (но это не точно) вы сможете найти пару мест в 200-300 метрах от отеля, около ресторанов или кафе. Очень шумно ночью, так как под окнами туристические торговые ряды и туристы до талого там обитают, играет музыка и постояно разговаривают. За окном был шумный кондиционер.
