Location is convenient

Cons:

The first time we stayed the staff were helpful, the second time much less so. For example we had to ask three times for toilet paper.

The airconditioner was so noisy it was hard to sleep. The room was a bit tired and needs updating.

The restaurant was disappointing. The food was just about ok, a bit meh, but an Asian restaurant with no white wine! What's that about? The breakfast was very poor. Although we paid for it for three days, we skipped it after day one and went out for breakfast instead. No real coffee in these days is disappointing and no fresh juice or western options.

Not width the money they charge. Even when I complained to the receptionist he didn’t apologise.

Value for Money, great location.
Pros:

Excellent location. Close to all key sights. Lots of dining options in and around. Many other shopping facilities in less than a km radius. Daily breakfast was good.

Cons:

We did not want rooms to be cleaned/linen-change every day. On a day we needed it, we switched on the room-cleaning light, took our room access card and walked out. The room did not get cleaned that day. BECAUSE when you take out the access card all power is switched off and the room-cleaning-required indicator also goes off. This is stupid design. They could as well go back to the old paper hanging on the door know indicating do not disturb or room cleaning needed.

Liked the location.

Cons:

The service staff's attitude towards guests is just really poor. We were two adults and a kid, we kept asking for a couple of dental kits, but they only gave us one brush and one paste. After we kept asking and calling for a few times, they finally gave us an extra comforter.

The Hotel Icon is an excellent place to stay; great location, good food, excellent staff.
Pros:

The Icon is centrally located and within easy walking distance to green spaces, museums and restaurants. The food at the hotel is very good and the breakfasts are always great. And the staff is excellent; very helpful and friendly. When we were asking about for travel suggestions, the staff spent a lot of time providing ideas and did research to make their ideas work. In particular, Aadit spent a lot of time providing ideas.

Cons:

The local gym is immediately next door to several of the hotel's rooms, so music can start early there, as can weights bring dropped from some height.
