A dirty, unsafe, and disappointing experience that did not meet basic standards for cleanliness or guest safety.
Pros:

Unfortunately, there was very little to like about this property. The room was in unacceptable condition upon arrival and did not meet basic cleanliness or safety standards expected from a hotel stay.

Cons:

The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Upon entering, we immediately noticed a hairball attached to the wall and multiple bugs on the floor. The lamp was also in poor condition and appeared heavily damaged and worn. The bed frame had exposed nails protruding from the bottom, creating a serious safety hazard that could easily injure a guest. The bed sheets were stained, raising concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. We also found an opened and apparently used bar of soap in the room. When we brought these concerns to management, we were questioned about why we did not want to switch rooms. However, our concern was that guests should not be placed in a room with these cleanliness and safety issues in the first place. We should not have had to discover and report multiple problems immediately upon entering the room. Overall, the condition of the room was unsanitary, unsafe, and far below acceptable hospitality standards.

We were only in Reno for one night, to attend an event. Needless to say we didn’t get very good sleep.
Pros:

It was close enough to walk to downtown. room was clean.

Cons:

Street noise was loud and unbearable. Every loud motorcycle, every loud car, raced past the hotel. Our stay was on a Friday night and there must’ve been drag races outside. Went on until 1am.

It was convenient
Pros:

The staff was friendly and there was a constant presence of housekeeping, cleaning the parking lot, the room was pretty clean and it didn’t reek of cleaning chemicals, thank God

Cons:

I didn’t care for the maintenance guy, trying to drill the door next-door to my room between seven and 830 at night when I was trying to doze off, and there’s no bathtub stoppers I had to create one out of a plastic bag, the pillows, and the mattress was very hard and the girl that checked me in did not tell me about the hundred dollar hold on my card otherwise I would’ve switched credit cards at any rate….

Clean room, nice staff, but noise & TV non-op were significant negatives!
Pros:

Location was convenient…easy to get to, but…

Cons:

The street noise—revving of car & motorcycle engines on purpose—was SO loud until after 2am. Clerk said it was like that every weekend. Ridiculous that city would allow this. Impossible to get a good night’s sleep unless you bring ear plugs &/or ANC headset with you.
TV remote was extremely difficult to use., buttons did not change menus or change channels. Very frustrating…so only 1 or 2 channels were accessible Clerk said system was being upgraded, but not yet implemented
