Comfortable, welcoming and friendly boutique hotel
Pros:

Warm and friendly welcome. Comfortable surroundings inside and outside suitable for all weathers. We loved listening to people playing on the piano, seeing families completing the jigsaws, chilling on the porch and free access to drinks and cookies. We enjoyed the breakfast and different cakes and scones each day. Easy access into Camden.

Cons:

Our bedroom was at the rear (which meant we didn’t hear the traffic at the front) but was noisy (and slightly smelly in the mornings) as it was near the extractor fan for the kitchen. The TV reception was poor, although fine for streaming.

Lovely inn & wonderful staff
Pros:

Unfortunately, we were only in Camden for two days but our stay at Whitehall was wonderful! The staff is amazing - they go out of their way to make sure your stay is a great one. Loved the big porches where we enjoyed a bottle of wine one night. There have been some reviews about the traffic noise but we live on a main street in a small city so we’re used to it. Loved the decor inside. They offer a continental breakfast which we missed both mornings! There is a parking lot but also street parking as well.

We had a King room on the first floor which was perfect for us. The only negative with the room was not having any place to put toiletries in the bathroom. There was plenty of blank space on the walls in the bathroom that could’ve possibly had shelves installed. They offer Lather amenities which happens to be one of my favorites!

Highly recommend a stay at Whitehall.

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Beautiful historic inn that was redesigned with flair! Friendly staff, so many common areas to explore and enjoy - front and back porches, multiple living areas, huge breakfast room all decorated in bright colors. History of the inn on display as well as books and a puzzle table. The breakfast buffet in the morning was really nice with several choices, yogurt, fruit, savory muffins and pastries. Ice available. Walk to the beautiful harbor, restaurants and downtown area. Comfortable room - just a bit of traffic noise if you face the road but didn’t affect our sleep.

Beautiful cozy inviting well kept comfortable Inn with bad food

The location is the location...half a mile out of town ..no view of Harbor...but a beautiful Inn and property with history..My only complaint is reference to free breakfast.. no warm food or meat..

Cons:

Breakfast was uneatable for me...95% plant based...please scramble some eggs...provide warm link sausage or bacon..with a blueberry muffin...very simple and easy..

Wonderful setting, but breakfast awful and room could be upgraded a bit. Very noisy air conditioner

Cons:

The breakfast was very poor and should not be a selling point. This needs a serious upgrade and we feel it is a joke to even mention as part of the stay aspects.
