Additional Charges!
Pros:

The room was excellent - a very comfortable bed and a roomy bathroom with all that we needed. We were on the second floor where it was quiet with a television on the outside wall; so no fear of upsetting anyone else when it was on.

Cons:

Our overall impression was of a hotel that wanted as much money as it could get out of us. We had to pay an additional £10.35 to park overnight and there was a 'discretionary' service charge of 12.5% added to our restaurant bill. Was it 'discretionary'? The only place where we found mention of this charge was at the bottom of the Children's Menu in our room - not on the menu we were given. This spoiled all the other offerings that the hotel provides. In the end, it wasn't 'value for money' and we will not return

Central to Cambridge yet tucked away in a quiet corner. Staff were so lovely

A very nice hotel tgat is, perhaps, focussed more on its spa
Pros:

Lovely old water mill. Rooms mostly on ground floor, which was very good for me.
Food excellent

Cons:

Parking very confusing - and expensive - I needed disabled parking, but signage was poor.

Overall, the stay was average - the hotel has a nice settings but poor service.
Pros:

Convenient access to Cambridge just 20 mins. It has a very lovely garden.

Cons:

The service was disappointing, as we had to remind staff seveeral times about things we requested and the personnal at the facility’s restaurant and cafe were particularly unhelpful and unpleasent.

Lovely location and friendly staff. The rooms need to be cleaned better. Great facilities in regards to spa and pool.
Pros:

Like the spa facilities. Friendly staff and lovely rural location. We had a lovely stay and was right where we needed to be to get into Cambridge from park and ride which was close. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room was nice.

Our room was not cleaned to the standard I expected. Having to pay for parking.

Great Stay & Great Spa
Pros:

Spa, pool, steam and Jacuzzi is really nice - clean, calm and friendly staff. Receptionist - Asian oriental lady really kind. Great size room. HOtel dinner food is really good

Cons:

The room needs AC unit, it was really warm, you cant open the windows for fresh area, there is a ceiling fan but its only near the bed. Its extremely warm in the room. Floor boards make a lot of noise (old building). Breakfast is a little let down, the choices are not elaborate. Difficult to get to the hotel couldn't find it. Car parking should be included in the hotel room price.
