Pros:

Staff were very friendly. Great facilities.

Cons:

Drainage from the shower didn't work so pretty much flooded the bathroom. Told receptionist in the morning of checkout. We also went out for breakfast, lunch and dinner as the menus were limited and quite pricy. Places we went to for meals were literally 5-10 minutes away.

Excellent breakfast and restaurant
Pros:

Restaurant and outdoor sitting area

Cons:

Superior room had unswept patio with no view.
Photos show bar with hand pull beers, but these do not exist, apparently very old photos.

My BF and I had a Spa weekend. Things didn’t run smoothly (a mix up with our Treatments Booking), but Nathan apologised,
Pros:

It was quiet and tranquil and rooms were contemporary and cosy.

Cons:

Having to pay £10.35 for parking, when we were staying there and using the Spa.

Comfortable room but noisy. Restaurant food not so great compared to last time.
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Bed and room were comfortable and nicely laid out. Gym is free to use.

Cons:

Parking was expensive if you book via any other means then directly with the hotel. This was completely unexpected. Dinner in the evening was disappointing compared to previous visits to this hotel. Repetitive dance music was playing very loudly in the restaurant which I had to ask to be turned down. My room was also next to the restaurant with no soundproofing meaning this could be heard until the restaurant closed.

Disappointed a little
Pros:

The hotel is very clean with quality built in
Staff friendly and well presented

No faults at all with hotel
Room to a good standard - creaky but that comes with age of property
Bed comfortable

Cons:

Spa facilities did not meet my expectations
First day in spa - water very cold in pool and Jacuzzi not working
Second day in spa - Steam room temperature too high ,close to burning skin couldn't stay in
Booked a treatment which we waited over 90 minutes for , it then was Cold and not fit for purpose ( salt bath) so abandoned
Was quite upset by my experience as used the spa previously with no issues .

Felt it was expensive for the issues
Pros:

Pool and room

Cons:

There was a boxing event with was loud and car park was full which we paid for. Blocked in and noise was loud till 11.30. We also felt uncomfortable at breakfast and rushed didn’t have any brown sauce which was standard. We paid £10 for parking and couldn’t get out car park and was really loud with event outside

Relaxing and enjoyable
Pros:

Extremely polite and attentive staff.
Our room was very clean and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities.
Pool, hot tub and steam rooms were uncrowded and lovely to use.
Tasty breakfast.

Cons:

Tasty burger and fries in the restaurant during the evening. However, the plate was a little bare without a slaw or salad garnish or similar, so perhaps on the stingy side. Very tasty though.
