Filthy, out dated, over priced, did not live up to a good expectations.
Pros:

The location was okay and quite

Cons:

Me and my wife came here to have a night away and relax but as soon as we arrived we were hit with we had to pay for parking even though I had just paid £200 to stay one night!!! Then when we got in to are room a apparent superior king that had two single beds pushed together and was extremely filthy with dust everywhere and black mold in the bathroom and tooth paste and lime scale on the taps in the bathroom as well as the carpet have massive stains all over it and we spoke to the lady in the reception and she did move us rooms but whilst we were resolving the issues there was another lady that was staying at the property and she also had the same problems with her room being filthy. Not satisfied and definitely not worth my hard earned £200!!!!!

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

The hotel is lovely, very clean, air conditioning throughout was excellent especially as it was a very warm weekend.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely consider staying here again

Cons:

Minor thing really our room on the top floor, we understand its an old building being a former mill and so not suitable for a lift, I'm not as agile as I once was, not disabled, so the narrow stairs were a challenge but not a reason to not book again, but we may request a ground floor room next time.

Pros:

The room was cozy and comfortable

Cons:

Very disappointed in the spa, the sauna and jacuzzi were out of order - we were not made aware of this at all. The spa was very run down and not very clean, cob webs, dust and dead insects surrounding the pool area. The room was also covered in stains, on the floors, bed side tables and blinds.

A comfortable and very good value hotel and the spa was good. Better perhaps to eat in town.
Pros:

Very comfortable and a good location

Cons:

The food was a little disappointing. The dinner menu was a long way from what is posted on the website and some of the options didn’t really work. The continental breakfast was good but cooked food was less good. There should not be a parking charge for a hotel that is not in town and has its own car park. There was no other way to get there! Having a charge for agency bookers and not for those who book direct felt wrong . The hotel was extremely unhelpful with regard to the parking. They denied telling us that this would be sorted and we have ended up with a fine which made the trip less good value!
