There was not much to like.
At check-in the receptionist was confused as to how many rooms I had reserved and charge me additional for the other two rooms.
That was NOT acceptable!
The hotel should have honored the cost quoted by Booking.
Location
Dirty, staff was rude.
Not very much. The people did their best to help but it took a long time to get the things we needed.
Very dirty. Floors were covered in dirt. Bathrooms and bed both had feces on them. Very disgusting place
Beware. We reserved a 2-queen room a week in advance of our trip, and received all of the usual confirmation and welcome emails about our stay, up to the day of our arrival. When we arrived, however, the desk operator announced that they did not have the room that we reserved; however, they did have available a king-bed room with a pull-out cot, as long as we could pay the difference between the rooms. I protested that our reservation had been confirmed multiple times, and that it seemed as though they were trying to refuse to give us our reservation, in order to sell us something more expensive. The desk clerk "called her manager" and then reported that, actually, they did have the room that I reserved; at the price that I paid. I accepted her offer to give me the room that I reserved, at the price that I paid, and I also decided to review the facility with this story, which I guess probably tells you as much as you need to know. It's a nice place to stay, quiet, with a light breakfast. And they seem likely to try to get you to pay more than you planned, if they suspect you might be gullible.
the willingness of the staff to help.
Our room was broken when we got into it. the toilet seat was not on one side, and our bed spread had a burn in it. we called down to the front desk and they sent someone to fix the toilet but he didn't know about the bedspread. So the worked did get the bedspread changed while we were out but the toilet seat was left broken, and the screws were in the toilet bowl. I had to call down to the front desk again to get someone to come up before we could use the bathroom. They offered us another room, but immediately said they couldnt bc they were sold out. Asked for additional towels and was told to get them exchanged i needed to go down to the front desk with the old towels to get new. No room service was given which was fine, we just wanted new towels.
A lot was going on during our stay. There was active construction in the parking lot, which made parking a bit of a headache. Inside the hotel itself, there was also a really strange smell that seemed like a combination of food and mildew. It definitely took away from the overall experience.
The first room we were given was extremely dirty, and I was honestly shocked by the condition of the room, especially the bedding. I immediately wanted to leave, but my fiancée wanted to stay, so we spoke with the manager, and they were able to move us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had cleanliness issues, including a dirty bathtub in the bathroom. Overall, the cleanliness of both rooms was very disappointing and not what I expected from a hotel.
Nothing, people in parking lot all night loud! I made a reservation tub in my room but I didn't have and I didn't get no money off of my room
I made a reservation so I had a jacuzzi tub in my room but when I got to my room no jacuzzi tub and he said there wasn't nothing he could do about it no money back no sorry not even a f*** you
Person behind the desk when I checked in was exceptional. He even helped me to my room with my luggage.
I specifically wanted a king jetted tub. The plug in the drain was not working well. There was hair in the jets. The jets would not turn on. The sink plug was shut with no visible way to open it. There was a long black hair in the sink. There was a dirty black sock in the bedside table. The hair dryer sparked and smoked when turned on. Quickly unplugged it. When checking out the person behind the desk argued about every complaint and kept saying he couldn't give me any money back. He didn't even respond when I mentioned the sock and the hair dryer. I will not go to Super 8 again. The handicapped parking spaces were way over on the side of the building--not very handicapped friendly. Hallways also had ramps and stairs in the hallways--also not handicapped friendly.
Easy access to downtown.
The room had some maintenance issues that should have been addressed before renting room again. Found some urine splatters on the toilet lid and cover.
location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and highway.
A/C did not work and it was 95 degrees outside. They kept telling me it was fixed but after multiple complaints 4 days later they moved us to another room with a functioning A/C but we found a better hotel and left 4 days before our checkout date. Also knocked on our door after midnight waking us up and insisting that we come to the front desk to pay a pet fee. I told the lady when we checked in that we had 4 dogs and she said that was fine. 5 days later they woke us up in the middle of the night and made us pay an additional $1,000 for our dogs. I paid $600 and left 4 days early without a refund for our 4 nights that we had already paid for. Extremely rude staff and miscommunication with customers regarding pet fees. We are now in a much nicer hotel with a 2 bedroom suite and full kitchen and only had to pay a $150 nonrefundable pet deposit for a 15 day stay!
good
Location and staff
The bed was hard, woke up with one side of my thigh numb, the bathtub wasn’t clean in or around it, there was hair on the floor behind the bathroom door, and the chair had a big liquid stain in it that should have been cleaned.
