A brilliant short break
Pros:

The High Flyer is in an excellent location with car parking. It is well used by the local community with good reason, both the beer and the food are great. What makes it even better are the very welcoming and friendly staff, in particular, Ava, Rachael and Leon the excellent chef. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Good value for money, great location, will happily visit again.
Pros:

Breakfast wasn't served till 10am, so we ate elsewhere.

The room was clean and comfortable

Cons:

wi-fi was a bit 'iffy' and the website was contradictory about breakfast..

Excellent location at a very good value with free parking. Lovely staff
Pros:

Staff were fantastic. Really friendly throughout the stay

Cons:

Only thing that wasn’t fantastic was a smell in the bathroom. Clearly a drainage issue and not a room problem as I could smell it in the restaurant toilet also.

Room basic but clean, comfy and affordable, front of house great but don't bother with the food
Pros:

Checkin staff was lovely. Room was pleasant and bed comfy. A cute area on the landing as you went upstairs to the rooms where you could help yourself to extra tea/coffee sweeteners etc.
The room was clean and had a good sized TV. Rooms were quiet and the hotel is in a good location close to the market square. There is free car parking next door too.

Cons:

There was no breakfast offered at all. And no one there for check out. We hovered in the reception area and was told by the beer delivery guy that there isn't normally anyone there that early and that people usually just leave their key on the side somewhere. We checked out at 10 and came back to have lunch but we really wish we hadn't.

The location and on site parking

Cons:

The room is somewhat tired. The bed is a standard double with a large room you would expect a king size. The Bathroom has shower door that doesn't close, the toilet is stained below the waterline and the floor boards by the shower door appear bouncy and maybe rotten.

The bar is well stocked and the staff are lovely plus it's in an excellent location.

Cons:

We have stayed a few times and realise we prefer room number 2 over number 1

Very nice hotel, would recommend
Pros:

Very friendly hotel, well equipped room and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast menu slightly limited but adequate. Well situated within 5 minute walk of the town centre. Small car park but plenty of car parks within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone

Wonderfully enlightening
Pros:

I booked this for visiting family. The property was beautiful & whimzicle which was fun and charming. The white and light decor was really uplifting. What a lovely environment.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was beyond expectations.
