This location is fantastic. It was a short walk to an amazing restaurant, Capo Estrada’s. We had breakfast every day at Brendan’s Café. There was a soft ocean breeze and the service was excellent. Every day we walk to the boardwalk and went to the beach it was a fantastic value and an incredible location. Next time I’ll jump in the pool, but I didn’t really have time for it. The Beach called me.
The room itself was totally renovated The shower was spotless and the water pressure was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. The smart television was able to stream everything that I wanted to watch at the end of the day. I will stay here again.
Location
Small room and the walls were paper thin. No basic cable tv instead they provided Roku. Linen carts being kept on the balconies. The office was closed on the morning of our checkout till 10:00am we had no choice but to leave key in the room. A total disaster.
Great hotel. Super close to the boardwalk. Very clean rooms. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there were more room around the pool for additional chairs. The service, the employees and the stay were great. This was my second time staying here. Exactly what you need for a stay down the shore. Also, I appreciated the beach tags that were included with the stay. Thank you!

Our stay was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. Our first room had a broken A/C unit and a defective shower head that sprayed water everywhere, soaking our clothes and ruining my wife's makeup. We were forced to change rooms in the middle of the night after the only staff member who seemed to genuinely care stepped in to help.
Housekeeping was equally disappointing. Despite requesting service each day, our room was never cleaned—only the towels were replaced. The beds weren't made, nothing was wiped down, and the room was left untouched for our entire stay. Customer service fell far below expectations. Most employees acted inconvenienced whenever we asked for assistance. We also weren't given the welcome beach bag or stuffed animal for our toddler at check-in and had to ask for them ourselves. Parking policies were never explained, and although we offered to pay for an additional parking pass for visiting family, we were denied despite seeing numerous empty spaces. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told he wasn't on-site but would arrive around checkout time. We stayed as instructed, requested what we felt was a fair one-night credit given the repeated issues, but were only offered a 25% discount.
To make matters worse, while we were packing to leave, the hotel shut off the air conditioning in our room, making an already frustrating stay even more uncomfortable. After paying a premium to stay here, this level of service was unacceptable. We booked through Booking.com and believe a one-night credit is a reasonable resolution given the number of avoidable issues and the overall experience.
The location was great! The room was clean and ready slightly earlier than check in. The staff was pleasant and did their best to accommodate our early arrival. Great shower pressure! Spacious bathroom and the room was a good size too. Outdoor showers were great! The pool was nice and the common space outside was great. Within walking distance to everything. Easy to navigate.
The beds were very firm, the blankets were not comfortable (2 flat sheets over a thin fleece blanket), the barn style bathroom door does not allow for any privacy or comfort using the bathroom. Laying in the bed, anyone can see you sitting on the toilet just looking in the mirror. The shower tile had some pink in the grout. The air conditioning was very cold for the person closer to the unit, but the room felt warm/hot for the ones sleeping further from the unit. Would have preferred a key card for room access over a physical key.

It did not have an elevator.
This is our 2nd year staying here now and we love it. The pool is nice and clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the little coffee maker addition this year. We also enjoy Brenda’s Cafe. Plus can’t beat the location to the beach and boards.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was rude and unprofessional. The room had clumps of hair hanging from the lamps, stained sheets, dirt on the floor. Don’t even think about showing up a second early. Even with everyone checked out from their stay and more than half the parking lot open, they still will not give you your complimentary beach passes and won’t let you park in the lot. I’ve gotten to many hotels early and always received my passes even tho I couldn’t get in the room. Had to pay extra for parking and to get on the beach. Also, once you park don’t move your car. Or you’ll have to park in a second parking lot blocks away that no one will verbally warn you about. Extremely inconvenient for families with little children. We also had a broken chair in the room that my son fell off of and almost hit his head on the metal of the bed bc the back was almost completely off. Very unsafe and a lawsuit ready to happen. They’ll pretend for days there’s no manager on duty when trying to speak to someone. Gave all my information for someone to call me after I left and it’s been a week no one’s called me and no one answers the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Especially families with little children. Do yourself a favor and stay any where else. It’ll save you a lot of headaches .
