Fühlt sich an wie ein gutes Hotel an der Nordsee
Pros:

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus. Hervorragendes Frühstück, gibt sowohl namibisches als auch deutsches Angebot mit Brötchen etc (sogar Rollmops :D). Außerdem kann man sich Eier, Speck, Omlettes usw auf Bestellung frisch zubereiten lassen. Das Restaurant ist abends auch hervorragend (allerdings auch eher zu deutschen statt namibischen Preisen, (aber auch nicht Preisniveau USA oder Australien)). Lage ist gut, man kann im Zentrum von Swakopmund überall zu Fuß hin und wir haben uns überall sicher gefühlt.

Cons:

Das Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich, aber auch etwas aufdringlich. Es wird einem beispielsweise regelrecht nicht gestattet, seinen Koffer selbst ein paar Meter vom Auto zum Zimmer zu rollen.

In Bettnähe gab es in unserem Zimmer keine Steckdosen.

Beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder!
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, Parkmöglichkeiten sind vor Ort. Besonders das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal lässt einen sich sehr wohl fühlen. Das Essen und ganz besonders das Frühstücksbuffet ist einzigartig! Nach einigen Tagen durch die Wüste tat die Entspannung richtig gut.

Wonderful across the board
Pros:

Wonderful room. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Perfect central location. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cons:

This is not a problem for me, but be aware that this hotel is a magnet for tour groups.

Schöner Stadtaufenthalt
Pros:

Sehr aufmerksames Personal: beim Parken im Hof, beim Frühstück, in der Bar und bei Koffertragen. Geräumiges Zimmer. Gepflegter Garten. Ein Haus mit Geschichte.

Cons:

Parkplätze im Hof sind etwas eng für große Pickups, aber durchaus machbar.

Highly recommended!
Pros:

Excellent hotel! Stayed here for 3 nights during my trip in Namibia and really enjoyed it.
Asked for a parking spot in advance and they had a secure place for me when I arrived, which was great.
The staff was very welcoming and professional, and helped me with a schedule change for an excursion I had planned.
I got the Senator Suite and it was wonderful. Very spacious (perfect for doing some workouts between other activities) and comfortable, with lots of storage room. I also enjoyed the bathtub and the shower.
Breakfast buffet was nice and complete, and the offer at dinner time is very generous, and my food was always delicious. They have lots of healthier choices and even “regular” dishes come with many vegetables, which is great.
The hotel’s style and decoration were also pleasing, and tables at breakfast and dinner were always spotless and well presented.

Highly recommend this hotel. It’s also very well located to explore Swakopmund, go for a run along the beach or on an excursion (the one I took, for kayaking with the seals and go to Sandwich Harbour, they came pick me up at the hotel, so I even didn’t have to drive that day).

Perfect!
