Galata 1785 Suites

I booked a room with a jacuzzi. I decided this hotel only for it but when I arrive there they said "we promoted you a better room". I said "is there jacuzzi there?" They said "the customer in the room with Jacuzzi didn't check out we can't give you". We insisted but they gave us another room with a dirty terrace. Their service and cleaning was good, but also no microwave in kitchen too. They are not professional. Before booking call them or else they can make the same trick. Because there are cheaper and better hotels in the area so it was disappointing and sad.

Otel fotoğraflardan göründüğü gibi aynı eşyalar fakat çok eski bir yapıydı. Kirli havlular çalışmayan tv enteresan çalışan fön makinesi vb şeyler dışardan bakınca çok iyi diyosunuz ama konumu dışında iyi olan bir şey yoktu

When we arrived for check in there is “a problem” with our room. They moved us to a different hotel and it was supposed to be an upgrade for us which it was not. We got a tiny room and for the first evening there was no hot water so we could not shower. There was a steep hill walking to the hotel from the Tophane train station.
The reason we choose Galata 1785 in the first place was that is was close to the train station and the room was big with a sofa part.
Now we had to walk further to the station and we got a smaller room.

This could easily have been handled in a satisfactory way from the hotel if they had contacted us before we arrived so we could choose if we wanted to stay at the new hotel or make a new reservation at another hotel.

I stayed in a perfect room.I loved my room.
Friends at the reception are helpful and friendly.
I will come again.

The staff is extremely polite and forthcoming. The hotel very clean and good looking. The location is near Karakoy district is perfect, within walking distance of all the major attractions like Istiklal street, Galata tower and bridge, etc. We frequently walked to the Grand Bazaar, and the surrounding area as well.
The surrounding area has a number of caffe bars, restaurants, small art shops, all with a really nice young vibe.
The rooms were cleaned regularly, and two bottles of water were always left in the room upon cleaning.
I highly recommend this hotel!

Konumu çok iyi. Konumu ulaşım açısından çok iyi yerde. Her yere yürüme mesafesinde olmasından dolayı çok büyük rahatlık katıyor. Location walking distance to Galata Tower and Karakoy and Taksim.Stafss are so kind polite and speaking good English Language.Everyday cleaning.Supermarket and cafe shop convenince stores are just around the corner.thank you for everything.

We came with friends to the exhibition. The main criteria for choosing a hotel were its proximity to the metro and exhibition hall. Galata 1785 for us is excellent, the location was proximity to all types of public transport, the price was reasonable (and this is for the center of Istanbul!). We did not regret our choice at all! The city center, historic buildings and all tourist or local attractions can be reached on foot in 40 leisurely steps. The hotel really lives up to its name - stylish interior, soulful place. The staff at the reception was friendly, took our wishes into account and settled in the neighboring rooms. Quickly issued, oriented to the hotel. The room was quite comfortable and spacious, everything was found in the bathroom. There were only positive impressions of my stay at the hotel. I recommend to lovers of comfort and all the best! You will glad.

Hotel is in center of old Istanbul, close to historical peninsula and istiklal street. My room cleaned up every day, receptionists were very helpful.

Otel gibi değildi, odanın içinden yan odaya geçen bir kapı vardı ve kilitli değildi çalışanların rezervasyon yaptıgım site ile ilgili bilgisi yoktu.

Отель стоит немного в глубине от оживленной улицы, что очень хорошо - в номерах тихо, можно отдохнуть после продолжительных прогулок. Сам по себе переулок не очень чистый, но он небольшой.
В номере есть абсолютно всё для комфортного проживания. Единственный минус - не работал телевизор.
На ресепшене стараются решить любой ваш вопрос.
Рядом с отелем расположено замечательное кафе Arada. Пешком за 5-10 минут можно дойти до набережной или Истикляль.

Hizmet açısından değerlendirmek gerekirse, işletmeyi bir otelden ziyade apart olarak tanımlamak daha doğru olur. İki kişi konaklamamıza rağmen odada sadece bir havlu vardı ve su bulunmuyordu. Bunları talep ettiğimizde de, kendilerinde mevcut olmadığını dile getirdiler bu nedenle tek havluyla idare etmek ve suyu dışarıdan tedarik etmek durumunda kaldık. Bunun dışında odanın temizliği, konforu ve büyüklüğü oldukça tatmin ediciydi. Lokasyon olarak çok iyi bir noktadaydı ki tercih etmemizdeki ana sebep buydu. Bazı ufak sorunları çözmeleri durumunda gönül rahatlığıyla konaklanabilir.
