This is not the 5-Star Hotel you are looking for
Pros:

Let’s be clear, this is an excellent location if you want a smaller, intimate, less crowded hotel with a private beach and fantastic sea views. If the neighbours open their balcony door, you will certainly know about it, but the rooms are generally quiet. Cleaning staff is on top of their job. A big SUV may not fit in the garage but the staff do everything they can to accommodate.

Cons:

One thing you will not really see from any map is that parking is a challenge. Ask their staff to park your vehicle because it’s a 17% gradient, which might not sound like much, but it is challenging.

The staff is very friendly, but not quite 5-star ready, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant is incredibly expensive (€20 for two grilled chicken breast with no side or sauce) and has a very limited options. There is a lot of self aggrandisement but the promised sommelier is non-existent and the selection is very limited. The staff appear to be mainly summer workers who have probably never experienced the attention to detail expected at a 5-star hotel.

The WiFi has issues with apple devices and constantly disconnects. You’ll only get 24 hours and then you will go through the captive portal which cannot open its own final link. So you have to disconnect and reconnect to have WiFi. First world problem for sure but not a 5-star experience. If you are there for an extended stay it becomes quite tedious.

The room service menu is just the restaurant menu with a €10 delivery fee. There are none of the expected comfort items you’d want to see so your choice is the limited to an expensive dinner or a trip into town. Uber is available and is mainly the taxi service which is reliable but expensive (expect to pay around €12 each way).

The rooms are clean but in need of some TLC (curtains are falling apart and falling off the railing). Replacing the netting on the balcony with glass on the balcony would enhance the view. Some rooms do have glass but most have netting. The bed is 180cm wide but the bedding is 200cm wide, so expect to have to negotiate sharing rights at night time.

Before committing to this Hotel, look at some of the 4-star options in town and compare their rooms with Navis. You can find a better room in a better hotel in town for significantly cheaper.

Zimmer in unteren Etagen kein so toller Meerblick, weil das Dach der Restaurantterrasse raus ragt, sehr enges Badezimmer

So you have to disconnect and reconnect to have WiFi. First world problem for sure but not 5-star experience. In this location I cannot understand the 24 hour limit, I doubt people are camping out to use the WiFi and if you are there for an extended stay it becomes quite tedious.

Not as advertised (5* Boutique level)
Pros:

Location, sea water, heated pool, kitchen - dinners and lunches were great. Some staff members remembered us and showed they care.

Cons:

Service was not for 5* hotel for this price.
You don't feel there as in boutique hotel (and we were in many boutique hotels before for similar or even less price).
The only boutique thing is the number of rooms - 50 - not so many people (which is good).

There is a whole list of small things which could be fixed in one day, which could improve experience to match 5* Boutique and make sure you want to return. Some examples:
- During 5 days stay at the beach no one came to us and offered a drink or service, not clear how to make an order, everyday bar worked at different hours
- No clarity about drinking water in the room - available only upon checkin or every day?
- Long waiting for menu
- Seems that the staff was not really interested to go for an extra mile, though we left tips every time
- Wi-fi logs out every 6 hours, why?
- Other small little details here and there
- Design in a room - blackout leaves open spots on side mirrors - you cannot really close it and make sure sun won't wake you up early

During checkout no-one bothered to ask how was our stay, we would have communicated then all mentioned above.

Chices Designhotel
Pros:
