Pikeville Surprise
Pros:

The first thing is don’t freak out when you first lay eyes on this circa 1960 stoner brutalist version of a 4 story exterior room door mo-ho-tel. Suck it up and check in at your econo rate room. Surprise! Everything is actually pretty good. Not luxurious, but all good amenities and furnishings and comfortable bed. What more do you want in Pikeville? How about a really good Mexican restaurant on the 4th level of this intriguing structure at very reasonable prices? Works for me. Happy Trails.

Good sleep on a nice bed

The cost can’t be beat. Could use bigger towels (but they were soft) and more pillows.
