A nice enough hotel but basic. Staff were lovely.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and heating good. Staff were great. Shower hot! Plenty of towels.

Cons:

Window view of air conditioning units was not great!
Breakfast has limited choice, fine if you want cooked breakfasts but poor otherwise. No comparison to the buffet style you get abroad.
No disabled access - steep stairs to reception and rooms.
Loud noise on first floor from Function suite - fortunately stopped by 10.30pm.

Pros:

Stay here quite often throughout the year when visiting family and as always the staff are friendly, welcoming and nothing is ever too much. We always look forward to our next stay.

A pleasant stay, with a few things that could have been improved

Cons:

The room felt a little cold and the bathroom even more so. We did not see there was a switch for the towel rail outside the door until the morning - if that had been put on the temperature could have been increased

It was for a birthday overnight and staff were lovely but hotel not worth the money wee paid

Poor added toiletries etc
Didn’t stay for breakfast ie water and shower gel issues
Poor sleep as noise from local bar kept me awake
