Absolutely no complaints about staff, facilities or location for an all-inclusive. Possibly overpriced compared with similar options.

Sauberes großes Zimmer, sehr nettes Rezeptionsteam und Housekeeping.

Im Essensraum und an den Bars hatte man manchmal nicht dieses Gefühl der Herzlichkeit.

Man könnte durch die Türe neben den Pool ganz einfach auf die Promenade und an den Strand.

Zimmer war sehr sauber.
Essen war zu jeder Uhrzeit ausreichend und gut vorhanden

Animation is good and the show programs are interesting. The sports activies are done nicely and the children are happy.

A wonderful place for a family holiday.
The room was clean and cozy. The food was various and delicious. The staff were amazing. Especially the animation team - they were fantastic.

The animation was amazing! They had different features every night with special guests. The beach was near with enough sun beds and umbrellas.

Rested with children and friends. Rooms - spacious, clean. Air conditioning, refrigerator were functioning.
The staff at the hotel is friendly.
The pool is very cold.
The beach area - sunbeds are on the second line, most with bird droppings after the night, which no one cleaned. Sunset in the sea is good.
The restaurant is a separate part that spoils all the good impressions of the hotel.
There was not enough food for everyone. If you want to drink tea or coffee during lunch or dinner, you will not find it in the restaurant, you have to go to the lobby. This is simply unacceptable for a restaurant!!! During lunch, leaving the restaurant, going to the lobby for tea and going back to the restaurant with it - is this a normal organization? It was terrible!
If it happens that most visitors come at a certain time, then there will not be enough tables for everyone. You will stand and wait until they are free, and until they eat all the most delicious things.
At the bar in the restaurant there are constant queues for alcohol, juices or even just plain water. Complete disorganization!
As for the food - in general it was delicious, the kitchen staff is friendly.
I definitely do not recommend this hotel and will not return here.

It was so bad I spent the first day crying.
Having stayed in Bulgaria before and that hotel being booked we thought we would try another hotel what a MISTAKE.

We upgraded rooms when booking to sea view suits. When getting there only 1 room had a sea view. We complained 2 of us got moved but still one group had no sea view.
When we were moved mainitance was called as sinks leaked, plugs didn't work and when spoke to receptionist said she knew... this was frustrating.
The food... was the worst food at any hotel I've stayed at.
Except a few waitresses and a chef the staff were moody and unhelpful.

The play area not safe for kids the slide propped up on a chair!!!! The play room was filfy so didn't let the 3 grandkids in there.

Worst of all when checking out they said we had taken/ stolen glasses. And tried to charge us. We proved we didn't take them.

We stayed 3 days in MPM Hotel Astoria. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed.
Reception was very helpful and the whole hotel was tidy and had a good vibe. No lines to the bar neither in the restaurant. In the evening there was light music by the pool bar, great atmosphere.

This is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Having booked the Asteria Hotel we were told it was closing early. The tour operator Love Holidays had been informed a month before. However we were not informed until arrival.
We ended up in the Astoria it was so basic no entertainment and lousy food. Not to mention the bedroom had a bath with an overhead shower. Not ideal if you are in your seventies.
Breakfast was terrible rubbery fried eggs and undercooked pancakes. A household toaster that took 5 minutes to nearly toast bread. A mettle pair of tongues to get the toast out. Same over or undercooked food lunch and dinner.
All drinks served out of collapsible plastic glasses. I could go on but I advise giving this hotel a miss.

Good location , the hotel itself is failrly good however the food could be more versatile.
Loved the beach access. Is perfect for families as well.

Very basic, not worth a 4 star hotel.

All I can say everything was perfect anyone not happy with this hotel should have spent more money.Would highly recommend and will be back next year

The hotel is terrible.. Starting with the accommodation.. If you arrive at the hotel before 14.00, the wristband will be put on only after 14.00 so that you will not get any food until dinner.. The cleanliness is tragic.. The rooms are terrible, there is not even a teapot.. The bathroom is terrible.. Food and drinks - the catastrophe is even worse.. A restaurant-canteen that serves cold food, because it has nowhere to put the equipment to keep the food from getting cold.. The beach is private, but.. the sunbeds are 100 meters from the sea and plastic ones, on which it is impossible to lie down.. There is no territory at all.. Max 2 stars, bypass this Russian holiday legacy

We returned to this hotel, because we had such a good time the first time but it was much different this time, and not in a good way. We checked in at 13.52hrs, 8 minutes before we officially could. They gave us the room key and asked us to return to get our All Inclusive band after 2pm. Fair enough, if not a little jobsworthy. So we returned at just after 2pm and there was a queue. And so we waited for almost 25 minutes, got to the front and the receptionist asked if we could return in 10 minutes? I said no, so she relented and gave us our AI band which took less than 30 seconds. I KNOW its really petty but I was so bemused as to what the issue was! But it left a slightly sour taste. The food is ok, and you wont go hungry. But again, a marked deterioration in the food from last time. Especially the puddings, they dont put out enough serving spoons so they call get clogged up with cake, and it all becomes one big mess. And the puddings were my fave last time!

I love how they lock the pool door overnight so you simply can't reserve beds with towels in the early hours, so no 3am bed patrol And they open the door at 9am and there's a relaxed feel as you all enter the pool area and take a bed. If you leave it much later than 10am then you have no chance of getting a bed until later in the day.

Over all the drink quality is pretty poor. The soft drinks are incredibly sugary, and it isn't a nice taste. The beer is watered down as you can drink 150 and still stand up. The staff are pretty grumpy and dont engage much which is a shame. I got told off on day 1 for standing at the wrong end of the round pool bar, which didnt please me much!

The private beach area is brilliant and the beach bar is a massive plus ( and another reason why we returned here) It's less than a 2 min walk from the hotel and the beach is lovely.

Two older lifts which dont hold many and are slow, not too bad for us but would possibly be a nightmare in the height of the season.

And the dining area gets rammed quite quickly and lack of seating is evident.

Hotel is in a great location smack bang in the middle of everything

All in all, its not too bad. Just not as good as it once was in my opinion. As long as you dont expect too much you'll probably enjoy your stay.

Good hotel. Tasty food. The beach is close. You can go with children, there is a children's club and animation for them. For adults there is also animation of darts and archery; my wife really enjoyed going to gymnastics. But there are problems with alcohol here, the beer seems to be diluted with water, and strong alcohol is also not of the highest quality. But overall I liked everything.

Nice hotel, delicious food, clean rooms and very kind staff. I am most fascinated by the animators, who made our vacation unforgettable.
Every day there were morning and afternoon games in which I joined with interest. The animator Yoni was incredibly kind, responsive and always in a good mood - the best animator! Thanks for the wonderful vacation and great attitude, Yoni!

Stayed at this hotel for a week with my family. Hotel is very clean and modern. When we arrived we were given a room with a huge balcony but the two balcony's next door were completely attached to ours with no dividers and all the balcony's from the floor above up were quarter of the size and all looking down into ours which gave minimal privacy and patio door didn't close properly, when locked the bottom half was still open and could be pushed open enough to let someone in. We informed reception and were asked if we could wait until tomorrow for a new room, which we did although I didn't get much sleep as we had two small children in the room, we understood it was 10pm by this point and getting late. First thing in the morning we were taken to a different room to see if we were happy with it. This one was directly above the other room the balcony size was just enough for two plastic chairs but this was something we were happy to accept to get the security of the door and the privacy compared to the other.
The receptionists were very helpful in dealing with this issue.

The rooms were spacious, and the beds were extremely soft and comfortable. Your given complimentary bottles of rose water, soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer and beach towels. Although there was four of us our children were not given beach towels, which I find very silly as we pay for them to stay at the hotel but only adults are given towels.

The two pools are lovely and clean but the water was extremely cold going in September there was no racing for sun loungers and always plenty available for everyone.

There is always food available breakfast until 10am, then the snack bar would open until six so you wouldn't have to go inside for lunch if you wish to stay by the pool. Once the snack bar shut the dinner would open and the snack bar would open once more 10pm-11 pm which was very minimal but always handy for some people. The only issue is a lot of the food is cold but there are microwaves to heat up if you wish. All in all we were very pleased with the quality and choice of food.

The only down side of this hotel was the lack of entertainment. We were aware that everything closes down in September but as there were still guests at the hotel youd still expect something to be available for the guest to enjoy. The two ladies on the entertainments team were fantastic with the children, playing games on kids club, drawing, dancing and always including them but the male entertainer would walk around the pool with the clipboard and only ask the young girls if they wish to participate in games, completely ignoring any other guests. To the point I had to actually question if my child was allowed to participate in Jenga or was he just going to have to watch them all playing.

I do recommend this hotel if your looking to stay in Bulgaria, brilliant location on the beach and close to everything. And 99% of the staff were fantastic

The staff in this hotel are disgusting toward British tourist it’s unbelievably dangerous behaviour. The men like to hit women for absolutely no reason leaving them black and blue. It seems like they’re anti British can’t even bring to words how bad. Please avoid if you’re British and a Women!!!!!!

I will start with the positives... the room is spotless, the cleaners do and excellent job, rooms done daily, free bottles of water, shampoo shower gel daily. I'm not a fussy eater so food was edible.. temperature of stuff like fries and pizza are stone cold however I did notice a microwave in dinner hall to heat your food up.
Drinks? I'm not a massive drinker but I've samples a few drinks and they are not good. I found the only thing that wasn't so bad was the rose wine.

Negatives,,, 99% of the staff don't speak English, this might make something to do with the fact that 99% of the guests here are either Romanian or Bulgarian.
This time of year it is absolutely freezing at nights so bring a jacket or two, for some reason they kept all patio doors open in dining hall open during all meal times. Literally folk are sitting with winter jackets on and eating their dinner.

I'm trying hard to not slate this place as it is very clean but for the money you pay and it states ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE... their is absolutely nothing ULTRA about it.

Personally I think all hotels in this resort are the same so it doesn't matter if you pay £200 or £800... you will get the same anywhere in sunnybeach so bare this in mind when choosing accommodation.

We recently spent a pleasant all inclusive week in the hotel. We were totally satisfied with the level of the services. Staff members were polite and helpful. The whole place was clean, everything (AC, lifts, showers, etc.) functioned properly. The restaurant should be mentioned separately as the selection and quality of the food they served was excellent. Congratulations to the chef and his co-workers!
