We loved the room, which is very well appointed. We also enjoyed the 5 pools one of which is heated. The beach is also very good. There is also a small swimming lagoon too with lifeguards on duty.
The restaurant food is amazing and well worth staying for. Great wine selection. We had breakfast on our patio each morning and ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Good wine selection and amazing gins!
The security is good, we arrived at the train station and had arranged a transfer. When we left we were able to use UBxx by booking in advance. However there is parking available.
It’s very close to Alberobello, Locorotondo and Ostuni. I had a very good massage organised by the hotel on the patio by our room.
Would go again!
Nothing
The property itself is very beautiful. Sadly, that is where the five-star experience ends.
For the prices charged, the hotel is astonishingly badly run and constantly feels like it is trying to squeeze more money out of you. If you don’t have a car, you’re essentially stranded and forced to use their private taxis, at around at least €50 a trip.
Breakfast was genuinely terrible. You had to book a time slot and the quality was nowhere near what you would expect from a five-star property.
Dining was equally poor: very limited options, with the only proper dinner restaurant costing around €120 per person. Otherwise, you were left with a very limited room-service menu.
Even the car rental arranged through the hotel was bizarre — the car arrived at 10:30am and had to be returned that same evening, despite charging a full daily rate.
One day we left the room at 11 am returned at 6.30 pm only to find that the staff had just begun to clean the room!
The whole experience was hugely disappointing. The building and setting are five-star; the management, service and guest experience are closer to two-star. I genuinely cannot understand how this is classified as a five-star hotel or associated with Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Excellent breakfast with beautiful views of the sea/coast. The room was very well appointed & very comfortable & clean. The main pool is lovely & large & clean.
We we left a little confused about the other numerous pools (other then the main pool) - I think this area needs a rethink.
The ocean
Needs urgent update on decor
Ligging en de kamer direct aan zee was super. Ontbijt op je eigen terras was zeer bijzonder.(en goed)
We stayed in the Sealoft - a villa directly outside the main hotel. It was amazing in every possible way. The fantastic porch had stairs to exit to the beach. The actual hotel was no more than a 20 meter walk. It was the best of both worlds - having your own private space with all the accommodations of staying at a top tier hotel.
We truly liked everything. Monopoli was only a 30 minute ride away but we were entirely removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Amazing hotel and very kind staff, efficient, thoughtful and an incredible view.
Cannot recommend this hotel for the following reasons : First experience was that the fridge in the room was not working during the heatwave. Only after a second complaint, the fridge was replaced the next day. Secondly, the breakfast at this hotel is a disgrace for what you pay and for a high rated hotel. For two mornings there were no yoghurt available (which is normally standard for breakfast and the fruit served is one only of each uncut peach, apple and a kiwi fruit for two people. Thirdly, their room service menu is exceptional pricey, eg for a bit of cold meat and one piece of Burrata cheese costs 40 euros. Total cost for bed and breakfast is 3000 euros for 3 nights. I am sorry but at their standard, it is not acceptable
La suite était magnifique
Le déjeuner Servie en chambre
Il contatto con il mare è la tranquillità
Il ristorante(unica scelta) troppo sofisticata
This is easily one of the top 3 hotels I have ever stayed. The individual attention, comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful rooms with small details that makes them stando out and a drop dead gorgeous views. Add to this the canal of ocean water created for comfortable swimming. Words would never do The Peschiera Hotel justice. I particularly want to mention the attention and help I got from Alessandra my first days there.
There was nothing I didn't like
