Essential workers only - NO
Professional property host/manager
No cribs (infant beds) available
Personal sehr Freundlich, Zimmer katastrofal
I did not like anything a out the property but liked its location.
A budget hotel this was our 3rd stay at this hotel, so we knew what to expect. We chose the room we wanted before we booked, but this was not acknowledged when we arrived, so we were but in a room around the pool area, noisy till midnight, and beyond, there is music playing all night, and people returning all night, talking on phones and slamming doors ! The light was not working when we arrived at 10pm but no one available to repair this, we were left with a side lamp, that was 2 pin into a 3 pin plug, that was so sensitive would take ages to get the light on. The general catering and cleaning staff are good and friendly, but the reception is hopeless, if you ask or order an early breakfast it is never ready, any problems you can never speak to the right person, we were left no towels one night , and the fight to get some was quite unbelievable ! first you usually have to wake the person up on reception as they are usually asleep ! or on there phone quite crazy, as the reception is your point of attention at any hotel.. often no electricity or water, which is quite annoying, if you have been out all day and need a shower !this is a budget hotel and if you do not mind Gambian time....and the constant noise, this is an ok hotel for the money, but you must be patient !
Bamboo garden is a little dated, but everything was clean enough, on my first night my bed squeeked terribly, but was seen to the next day, no problem. I enjoyed my stay there and would return
Vriendelijk personeel, schone kamers, goede douche, leuke straat met goede restaurants, dicht bij strand.
Had 2 nights' stay. On arrival, was informed fully booked (I had booked and fully paid in May 2019!) and transferred to their affliated hotel nearby (location not so convenient, unlike Bamboo Garden Hotel that is along street with many restaurants and a beach at the end of street). And after one night was transferred back to Bamboo Garden Hotel. After a full day tour the next day and to take all my belongings at the reception, I was told by reception staff to go back to Bamboo Garden Hotel on my own! I was transferred by car from Bamboo Garden Hotel to this Seaview Garden Hotel and I really do not know the way. I told the reception staff to contact Bamboo Garden Hotel to arrange for a car. Finally it was arranged. But the reception staffs I encountered at both hotels throughout this episode were rude and of poor service! I should say my most unpleasant experience. (Gambia is my 155th countries visited and my 28th African countries. Information is not for boasting but to show in perspective that I am not a greenhorn traveller. And I hardly write review but only very unpleasant experience and if very good service that should be commended).
No aircondition in the room, too hot. Unreliable power system
Trevligt hotell . Fräscht inne och ute och fin varierad frukost .
Mooi zwembad, leuke ligging!
Worn out, run down, dirty, everything in hotel falling apart or broken.
Asked everyday for them to please repair the TV. They just kept fobbing me off. They don’t care. After 3 days I paid for another hotel and they wouldn’t give me a refund. For the same money you can stay at Regal Apartments which has aircon, a safe, kitchen, fridge freezer, WiFi in room and much more included in the price. Bamboo want to charge extra for all of these.
I also recommend Q City hotel.
I was unable to stay at Bamboo Hotel as per booking. Upon arrival reception staff said no room available due to " overbooking", Hotel staff had arranged for me stay at Seaview Garden Hotel instead. Whilst I did not to pay any additional cost for stay at Seaview, the unexpected change did cause me inconvienience and discomfort as I was separated from my relatives who were staying in hotel right next door to Bamboo.
Gutes Hotel in Strandnähe. Nur das Pool müsste mal gereinigt werden. Seitenwände sind ganz grün.
Great wee value for Money hotel very near the beach 150 yds away
lots of eating places around all worth a try, except the dutch cafe.
The hotel staff take good care of you and make sure you are well served during your stay
the only downside is the number of folks who reserve the sunbeds all day ad don't even bother to use them. Idiots
Very friendly staff,
Lovely meals at bar grill
Could do with a bit of updating in rooms
Lack of umbrella's around pool
Great people, close to beach, nice breakfast, excellent gardener!
