A Hidden Gem just back of main street near the Mountain Mall.
Pros:

Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. All appliances worked and water pressure and hot water supply were great.

Cons:

Hotel is in renovation at the moment and some construction noise was a bit jarring at times.

As always, great!
Pros:

I stay at Howard Johnson, Gatlinburg whenever I come down, which is quite a bit. This time I got two rooms because I wanted to introduce him to this place. He was equally impressed. The location is very convenient to downtown. There is a trolley stop by the office. The rooms are remodeled and very comfortable. The staff friendly. I won’t stay anywhere else when we come down.
