Great place to stay
Pros:

The rate couldn't be beat. Room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good but didn't have potatoes/ hashbrowns and I am not a fan of powdered eggs. Also, it had two pools. Both were outdoors, one for kids had a slide. Even though weather temps were in the 90's the pool water was very cool. Noted some bugs and small debris was in the water. Seemed that the filter system was not able to keep up. Property was clean and maintained. They had two different firepits that was on gas and manual timers. Also had bears come through the area that other people saw but I didn't. Did see bear poop one morning in the parking lot in front of our room. This is common for the Gatlinburg area so don't be to alarmed, just keep your distance and they will leave you alone. Hotel was just off main strip and within easy walking distance but far enough away to not get the crowds. There is also a trolley stop right at the entrance to the property which is a bonus. The Gatlinburg trolley is free to ride. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Cons:

Pool could have been a little cleaner and warmer. Breakfast should have real eggs and add some kind of potatoes. Add this and I would give it 10 out of 10. Don't get me wrong, their breakfast had several options and the attendant was quick to make your waffles for you. This is not a bad thing, he was very polite and maintained the breakfast area.

Minor but the eggs are obviously microwaved and at times watery. Perhaps don't make them like crumbles either.

Alternate offerings each morning. Please add fruit also.
