Lovely property, not a beach front hotel. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Vintage feel

First the resort is very low key quiet and clean. The ladies at the front desk super friendly and helpful especially India she's the type of person you would want on your team, going the extra mile for the guest. Will definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a place to stay in Nassau. Also proximity to the airport is a plus.

Interesting decor great location clean and convenient

This property was beautiful and always clean. The staff was very professional and friendly and very helpful. I’d say this was a 10/10. The only issue is that it’s too far to walk anywhere. But they do offer transport for a cheaper fee than a cab.

Great staff and customer service is impeccable. Mayor plus for us was the shuttle service and having access to the restaurant and Bar at the entrance of the hotel. Pool table, bar, pool and breakfast available at location. Had a great experience the first time and we stayed a second time on our way back. Highly recommend.

Would stay again

My husband and I have stayed at this lovely hotel now several times over night to catch connecting flights to the out islands and we consider it more a B&B as it is an elegant Italian renaissance style former private residence of a dentist, gated and with only 10 rooms for guests to rent. It is truly a jewel compared to the typical hotels in Nassau- IF you are looking for quiet and no hustle and bustle that is! It sits high up on a hill with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding area and has a lovely tropically landscaped garden with palm trees and other exotic plants. As other reviewers mentioned there is a pool with a few lounge chairs to take in the quiet and peace of the place. It is in close proximity to the airport, has a really nice restaurant with good food and outside bar within 5 minutes walking distance close by, but no restaurant on site which can be a bit problematic should you arrive at a rather late hour......
Breakfast is available, not a huge menu, but the quality is very good and the staff is truly very nice, professional and attentive to your needs. They also offer a 'shuttle' which is a private SUV that can be arranged for guest pick up and drop off from/to the airport with prices more reasonable ($18 one way) compared to regular taxis that can charge up to $40 depending on the day and time :)

It is an Amazing Hotel .

This BnB is like staying in The Great Gatsby’s summer house. Very opulent, cool art, super friendly, helpful staff.
FYI, lots of stairs - no elevators.

Just as described. A lovely, quiet spot with beautiful beach views and friendly staff. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and the A/C worked very well. It’s a hotel but feels more like a big private home. A hot breakfast is available a la carte, but be aware the hotel does not have a restaurant on site to offer lunch or dinner. There are two good restaurants at the bottom of the hill with views of the ocean across the road: one an beachside bar and restaurant, and one more formal. They are within walking distance, but be aware that if you walk down the hill you will also need to walk back up. The hotel did offer transportation to the airport. Overall it was a great spot for me to relax for a quick overnight trip to the island. If I were staying longer, I probably would have wanted a car to get out and explore.

Friendly staff

The hotel is beautiful. The people at the desk became my friends and are so helpful and sweet. I adored them. The breakfast was such a nice convenience. The private driving service can get expensive but it was also so helpful and cheaper than getting a cab! parts of the room seemed a little aged more than I would like but overall it was nice. I had some leftovers in a container and in the morning they were covered in tiny ants. They are very common on the island with drinks or food so you can’t leave anything out. The beach nearby i absolutely loved bc it was so quiet and peaceful with a tiki bar that also sold food. Overall, I had a great time

Ocean West is always wonderful. Clean and beautiful. We keep coming back. The view is breath taking. Pool is lovely.

The Ocean West boutique is just amazing. The views are spectacular of the beautiful aqua water. The pool is very refreshing. The rooms are clean and bed sheets nice. We have been several times and will continue to go. Lots of restaurants close by. Sapadilla is right next door. Loved every minute!!

Dion was amazing! The place is spotless!

Location was nice, walkable to restaurants. Good beaches were a longer walk. Pool and patio was nice. Room was quite nice but dated entertainment system and bathroom. Staff were great!
