Moldy
Pros:

Big room. Nice staff

Cons:

The room was extremely moldy. Couldnt sleep because of this and I felt sick in my throat the next day

We loved it
Pros:

The air conditioner worked! I find in a lot of apartments the air con doesn't cut it. We are in the middle of a heat wave so it was great

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn’t working in our room. The staff moved us to another room which was fabulous. Although that room has a water leak.

Ideal place to stay in Newstead
Pros:

We stay here frequently, the place is modern with a good gym, outdoor pool on the roof, and magnificent views of downtown Brisbane. Ideal location too, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

It was our 12 year anniversary, wanted a special experience hence choosing this hotel it was a complete let down

Had to change rooms - dark, low floor looking at car park
My email requests were not read, actioned or acknowledged
No cleaning on weekends - had to make up our own room
Phone was not working
Had to go down to reception on numerous occasions to get things done
Beds are small - should be a king
Cleanliness was average
Sofa smells mouldy & felt dirty
