Solid, affordable base with a lively local feel — good value for a Cologne trip.
Pros:

Great location with shops and cafés right nearby. Easy 20-minute walk to Cologne Cathedral. Good value for money — comfortable and clean without city-centre prices. The lively neighbourhood atmosphere was a nice bonus.

Cons:

Some street noise from the area. Light sleepers might want to request a quieter room.

Pros:

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Schoon sanitair. Prima bedden, lokatie gunstig qua bereikbaarheid van alle hotspots en openbaar vervoer

Cons:

Erg rumoerige omgeving (in de zomer, met mooi weer). Veel uitgaansactiviteit tot diep in de nacht. Oordopjes zijn aan te bevelen, en daar wordt ook in voorzien, da's dan week weer vriendelijk.
Kookgelegenheid: magnetron doet het prima, maar verwacht verder niet veel. Qua keukengerei is er alleen maar 1 pan. Beetje improviseren dus.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der Stadt, dafür war alles super.
Pros:

gute Lage, in der Straße ist viel los, U-Bahnstation direkt in der Nähe

Cons:

Unser Zimmer ging zu einer gut befahrenen Straße raus. Es liegen aber Ohrstöpsel bereit.

Good value accommodation walking distance from centre
Pros:

The apartment was well suited for a short trip. The bed was comfortable (although the pillows provided were very thin) and there were basic kitchen facilities. The surrounding area had many shops, restaurants and bars, and the town centre was a 20 to 30 minute walk away. Public transport was available but we did not use it.

Cons:

As previously mentioned by other reviewers, the accommodation is noisy in the evenings due to nearby bars. We appreciate the owners cannot help this, but it is worth being aware of if you are a light sleeper. Nearby parking was expensive and a little challenging to make sense of as a foreigner; street parking nearby would have been better if we had been able to get a space.

Great location with easy checkin and friendly staff, could use freshening up in the kitchen dept.
Pros:

The apart-hotel is a 5 minutes' walk to the subway, which connects you to everything. There was someone at reception when I arrived - friendly, helpful - but there's no real need for an in-person checkin, as the instructions for the pads on the front and room doors are sent in advance and very clear. I was impressed with how a rather small room could be so well-appointed. There's a TV, a fridge, a kettle and a microwave if the hobs don't suffice, and there are tons of sockets for charging up your devices. There were also a pair of umbrellas on the door, which came in handy as there were summer showers during our stay.

Cons:

The fridge had seen better days, the freezer door was missing (not that we needed it) and there was no cutting board that we could see, which made making salad quite tricky. But we only had butter knives, so chopping was not really an option anyway. I'd have liked a sharper knife and a cutting board, but as it was a short stay I didn't bother contacting reception to ask if those could be provided.

Die Zimmergröße und die Lage sehr gut.2 Minuten bis zur nächsten U Bahn.
Kleiner Balkon aber ausreichend.

Cons:

Nicht gut gereinigt.2 dreckige Gläser im Schrank.Flaschen von Vormieter im Kühlschrank.
Man hat einen Herd,darf ihn jedoch nicht benutzen mit Öl oder Fett,warum auch immer,steht aber direkt dort geschrieben.Für den hohen Preis mehr erwartet.
