Room was nice
Due to road construction, hard to find your way in there
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is always clean and the beds and pillows are so comfortable.
It is great to find a place that takes dogs and is a smoke free facility.
I have no complaints.
Recliner in room needed replaced or at least recovered
They offer no breakfast which we knew from the start. It would have been still nice to have something.
The shower didn’t drain well in the one room. Our room were not close even though I asked 6 months in advance. They were on different floors.
This is our 2nd stay at a My Place chain, our 1st was in Mitchell and was absolutely wonderful. The Jamestown My Place changed our opinion. One of the 2 door keys didn't work, crumbs on the floor in the kitchen area and an elevator that malfunctioned by morning so we had to carry coolers, backpacks and suitcases down 3 flights of stairs. Wi-fi didn't work. No ice unless you stay longer than one night because refrigerator ice maker doesn't make enough by evening beverage. Lots of construction workers, a nice place for them, but not over nighters.
For the most part the room was in good shape. However it was a typical hotel room where repairs in the room had been half heatedly. The beds were worn and uncomfortable.
We booked through booking.com. We paid almost $300 a night. While we were there, others friends who stayed at same time were paying much less! We asked the front desk, and they stated the booking.com controlled the rate. We messaged booking.com and they said it was the hotels fault for the price discrepancy. The staff stated that typically in a high volume situation, the room would go for around $180 a night. In essence, we got price gouged for trusting booking.com.
Lady up front was rude. Little to no help. Don’t book through Expedia because it becomes a whole deal.
The staff was very kind, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable
Our room smelled so badly of cigarette smoke despite this being a “smoke free facility” as stated on their front door. Also right next to a truck stop which was very loud.
Everything except didn't better cleaned till the 3rd night
Convenience to get to it off the interstate.
We didn't realize when booking this that there was no continental breakfast.
No breakfast offered.
Liked the amenities-kitchenette came in handy, even though we only stayed for a night.
Nothing. It was nice.
