Le Domaine Anse Marcel Beach Resort

De locatie is goed als je het laatste wat moeilijk berijdbare weggetje er naar toe niet bij de beoordeling betrekt. Het resort is gelegen aan een mooi strand op een prachtige plek op het eiland en er zijn enkele restaurants in de naaste omgeving die het mogelijk maken om desgewenst het rijden van het weggetje van en naar de locatie in het donker te vermijden. Er is ook een kleine supermarkt te vinden.
Het ontbijt is een niet overdreven duur behoorlijk gesorteerd lopend buffet op een fraai aan het strand gelegen terras. De cappuccino werd echter wel steeds apart in rekening gebracht.

Personnel très professionnel et très aimable.
Qualité remarquable des équipements avec des matelas, une piscine épuré très jolie qui permet de faire des longueurs.
La proximité de la Mary, qui permet de faire des excursions maritimes sur les petits îles avoisinantes à Anguilla à Saint-Barthélemy, sans très proche de l’hôtel sans prendre la voiture.
La Marina proche de l’hôtel avec des deux restaurants très sympathiques et un petit centre commercial.
L’hôtel est assez étendu avec un très beau jardin de.
Des chambres on a une vue merveilleux sur la sur la crique, la plage et la mer avec de nombreux voiliers au mouillage.
Au total, nous avons nous avons apprécié cet hôtel et son emplacement et on hésitera pas à revenir passer un ces jours un peu plus long

Old room and not a lot restaurant around .

Love Anse Marcel hotel, the only thing we don't like was the hundreds of flies at the kitchen while breakfast. Maybe if they use screens for the kitchen it will be better. Other than that, everything was great! The beach and the service was perfect. Lobster was delicious!

We love Anse Marcel and have been visiting Anse Marcel off and on since 1995. We liked it when the Le Meridien hotel chain used to manage the properties. This time, we decided to try Le Domaine even though it seemed like it was no longer a full service hotel. This was more like an Apartment Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the office is only open till 6pm - after that, there is no one to help. The room included daily maid service.
The beach is as lovely as ever and is the main reason to stay here. Lounge chairs/umbrellas are free for hotel guests. The beach restaurant is also quite nice for lunch or breakfast. Also, you're within a short drive to Grand Case, where many of the island's best restaurants are located. The rooms are generally clean and nice - we had a wonderful view of the ocean.
As far as negatives, the towels were thin and rough like sand paper. There were no tissues/Kleenex - we went to the office and were provided the last box. We had mosquitos in the room - needed to buy mosquito repellant at the grocery store and that didn't work entirely well. We learned to live with the mosquitos and opted not to use the balcony because of the mosquitos. We were also visited in the room by a small gecko and a very large cockroach. If you're ok with the apartment/hotel concept, then this hotel is fine and you cannot find a better calm beach. We prefer a full-service hotel.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful resort! The room was clean, comfy king sized bed, kitchenette. The pool was clean and well maintained! The beach is gorgeous and the surf is calm!

Enjoyed the quiet bay. Beaches were very clean and not crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that it was hard to find!

The entire experience staying here from start to finish was beyond five stars. Stephane, Clemence and Stephanie could not have been more welcoming. The property was clean and very private. The amenities were lovely. The bed was luxurious and soft. The properties were well kept in the beach and breakfast each morning were top-notch. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants peace and quiet and a beautiful and clean accommodation.
