Great; would stay again!
Pros:

Location fantastic; staff helpfulness too. The bar and restaurant were lovely.
Great car park £15 for 24 hours.

Cons:

We couldn’t work the shower in our room in the morning but we reported it and maintenance were going to look at it straight away.

Ruined by cold showers
Pros:

Decent location, been before so knew what to expect

Cons:

Cold shower both mornings; it was fine at night.
When I mentioned this on leaving I was told hwy can turn the boiler up. My colleagues experienced the same. Maybe not scrimping on the boiler and ensuring guests can shower would be a better approach for a 4 star hotel?

Would stay again if it was cooler throughout the hotel.

Pros:

We have stayed here on many occasions. The accommodation is really good and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The standard room and double bed we had this time seemed smaller than usual.
The accommodation is usually spotless, but there was a line of dust between the joining back boards behind the wc. Also, there was the usual notice regarding placement of towels for reusing. We left ours hanging up, indicating that we were happy to use them for a second time, but they were replaced anyway which is a waste of resources.

Wouldn’t go back there

Location it was very central

Cons:

Strong smell of fish throughout the hotel from the restaurant, the shower door was broken and almost caused an accident and we were woken up at 6am by a car right outside the window revving extremely loudly trying to park in a very tight side lane
