Usually book superior rooms which are excellent. Standard double poor
Pros:

Booked standard double room as no other options at time of booking.
Disappointed in the room.
Windows very close to a wall and poorly ventilated.
Room very warm with a jaded and noisy fan heater as compensation

Welcoming hotel in a good location with parking.
Pros:

The location was ideal travelling up from London for an overnight stay before heading north. There was parking on site which was ideal. Nice outside seating area.
There was one of the best showers we had ever had. Easy to use & a simple push button switch for rainfall shower or ordinary shower. Plenty of room so the shower could heat up before stepping into it! The bed was super comfy.
Staff were welcoming and helpful.
We’ve stayed three times now so that says it all..!

Cons:

Nothing really. We were in a deluxe double room which I didn’t realise was in a different house, instead of the hotel.
The room was actually larger than the one we had last year.
The only slight dislike but purely personal taste , was the design of the purple crushed bed spread , headboard and pelmet.

Very very hot rooms. Very noisy, snoring next door, beer barrels banging very early in the morning. Foul language from the staff in the bar!!!

Lovely hotel in central location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Harrogate is lovely town to visit.

Cons:

Location was excellent close to all shops and restaurants. 10 mins to bus station.

Enjoyed our stay however room was too small and oppressive
Pros:

Breakfast not provided which was disappointing given the tariff

Cons:

The room was situated in an off shoot of main corridor next to laundry room not visually appealing access ! Room was very small and extremely hot 🔥though fan was provided ! No real view felt like we were in a large cupboard
