Loved it!

Stunning views of the ocean and great beaches. The room was clean and the cleaning staff were very good. The room itself was a little run down. Rust in the bathroom shower and on the heater, exposed screws on the wall finishings, an exposed electrical box, etc.... All in all, no deal breakers but when you pay top dollar you should get an impeccable room

It could use an interior paint job

My family loves this property. We go for Labor Day every single year and request the same room. We love the beach set up and the pool. It is close to Montauk and convenient to just about every where. 5 star, highly recommend it.

Great location on wonderful beach. And it has a sweet, old fashioned quality to it; think beach hotel 1960. But our room was dreary and falliing apart, and just got the sense that nobody at the property really cared about anything All this for a small fortune.

Need to upgrade TV and furniture

Amazing views and location. Great beach. Room layout and kitchen excellent. Nice greeting.

The only complaint I would have is that we could hear the people above us waking around, moving some furniture and opening and closing the sliding door. The chairs have felt pads but coffee table does not We expressed our concerns about the door and it was addressed immediately. The next morning was much much better but we could still hear walking around and any time the coffee table was moved.
I would suggest an upper level floor to avoid this.

It's proximity to the beach.

Beach with chairs was great and private. Didn't like that keys were missing from check in envelope and was told the person forgot to put them in which necessitated two trips for check in.

Check in very easy. Keys left in key box for after hour check in. Lots of text communication which streamlined housekeeping and beach paraphernalia needs. Pull out sofa bed extremely uncomfortable for my teenage kids. Bedroom mattress was fine. Bedroom could have used a TV. Hotel is basically on the beach, which is a plus for me. The rooms were clean and the A/C was fine. I would stay again on my next visit. I like staying in Amagansett as Montauk is just a 10 minute drive East to do water activities and fishing. The company who manages this property, manages other properties in the Hamptons which would be worth considering also.

This was out first trip to Long Island and Ocean Colony was a great place to stay, surrounded by parkland and on a beautiful beach. Nice 2 bedroom apartment was well equipped and with ocean view. Received an app every night asking what we needed the next morning. There was a second app every day about reserving beach chairs, umbrellas and towels ... loved that idea! Highly recommend Ocean Colony!

The property is beautiful and the staff excellent however is a toss up in the condition of the unit.

Thanks for everything. I loved that you had a Roku! I was able to watch Wimbledon on the rainy days.

This property was such a pleasant surprise! The photos on the site are obviously very old, but the rooms were cute and updated. Check in and signing up for amenities were very smooth. We had tons of space in our 1 bedroom. Loved the full kitchen and balcony. Super happy with our stay!

All good. Very responsive staff, Comfortable beds, Clean, Nice little kitchen.

Rude front desk. Mask policy though clerk wore hers under her nose. No ice machine. 5pm check in with 11am xheck out. staff at pool checking if you are drinkung from a CAN. zero insulation to noisy neighbors. old key system for doors. no iron. no broom in unit..SAND...HELLOO.

Upper level ocean view room was WONDERFUL!!!!!
