A Fantastic and Strategic Base for Exploring Chongqing
Pros:

My stay at the Milky Way Way Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing, especially for its incredible convenience.

Location & Accessibility: Excellent
The location is this hotel's biggest asset. It's literally about a 3-minute walk to the Line 2 MRT station, making city travel a breeze. A key tip: the hotel is very well-known among Didi drivers, so you'll have no trouble getting picked up or dropped off. We took Line 2 directly to the Chongqing Zoo to see the pandas, which was incredibly easy.

Room & Cleanliness: Very Good
Our room was cleaned impeccably every day. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a better room upon arrival, which was a lovely welcome. The room was quiet, with no noise from the road, ensuring a good night's sleep. The only minor issue we encountered was that the bathtub drained slowly and got jammed after a bath, but it wasn't a major problem for our short stay.

Amenities & Services: Thoughtful
The daily complimentary two bottles of mineral water and yogurts were a very nice touch. The breakfast offered a great spread, with more Chinese dishes than Western options. My personal routine was two fried eggs, a cup of milk, some local mee and wanton, fresh fruits, and tea – it was perfect to start the day.

A Hidden Gem: The Travel Agency
Right next to the hotel counter, there is a travel agency. We used their services to charter a private car for 3 days to visit Fairy Mountain, Jinfo Mountain, and the Dazu Rock Carvings. The price was very reasonable. Important Note: The driver did not speak any English. To make this work, you MUST do your homework on the locations beforehand and have a WeChat account for translation and communication. It was a fantastic experience, but requires a bit of preparation.

Localización excelente a buen precio
Pros:

La habitación que me dieron era enorme, la ubicación es fabulosa a cinco minutos de una estación de metro que está donde Jiefangbei, una zona llena de restaurantes y tiendas. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Cons:

El desayuno para occidentales un poco escaso de opciones. Me costó encontrarlo ya que no tiene el nombre del hotel en inglés por fuera y en las aplicaciones de mapas no aparecía
