I stayed for two nights on a solo trip through China and received truly excellent service from Zhu Shuangqin and the team - they truly went above and beyond to help me arrange a trip to a neighbouring town.

The hotel was very nice and very well located too. I would recommend staying here if taking a trip to Zhangjiajie.

It is a five star hotel but must have gained its reputation decades ago. One can clearly see its glorious days. Very convenient location for taking the cablecar to Tianmen Mountain but facilities are a bit out of fasion and need a renovation

Nice hotel ! Good location … the only bad thing when arrived at airport make a call for the shuttle indications none speak English . We got a DiDi

Shower drain was a little slow. Room was overall clean and well maintained. Room key lock mechanism failed on 2nd day of 3 night stay. But the problem was fixed fairly quickly. The location was good. We were pleased overall.

Outdated hotel everything needs an upgrade and make over. I was charged 50 Chinese dollars because I left a key in the room. The restaurant was decent but pricey for the food we were served. The one nice thing about the hotel was that it was close to the Tianmen mountain ticket agency.

Main problem is the staff cant speak English

There was a doorman named Rock who was exceptionally helpful in giving directions and giving taxis instructions.

Staff was nice. They provided us with a fruit platter as a welcoming gift. We were there for Christmas and they provided us with small dessert and gift for Christmas.

The staff were very accommodating as I had come to Zhangjiajie on a research project and I wasn't sure how to find the village I needed to. Broad Hu, in particular, helped by organising a guide at short notice and changing my travel plans made by a third party to make the project a success.

Aircond not working for my 5 nights stay due to Aircond maintenance? So disappointed and so hardly to sleep and get sick fever sore throat. So bad. Lost of confident about china hotel. Room request more drink water get extra charge so bad it’s so called 4 stars hotel? Please don’t go to this hotel. Don’t recommended.

Great location. Great tourist office attached that was very helpful. Hotel was a little old and just ok for another big hotel.
