Our Wedding Nightmare
Pros:

Sadly we had our wedding at this hotel. We were told at the first meeting that we were not able to book the number of rooms we wanted because they needed to keep them available for government people visiting the lake for crab season. Yet I was able to jump online that night and book the 17 rooms that I needed without a problem on expedia. In preparation for the wedding we made 4 trips several hours each speaking with the staff on how we wanted the dinner room set up for the wedding and the day of the wedding almost none of what we had discussed was done. In fact 1/2 hour before the wedding was set to begin the tables and all of our gifts and small details we had prepared was not even set out. My groomsmen and myself in our tuxes had to load all the tables up with the wine and gifts we had prepared and then rush to the ceremony held right outside. Than even though we had agreed to have an outside reception with dancing and music when it came time to play the music we had prepared they would not play the speakers outside because it would disturb the other guests in the hotel (at 7:30). later that night when everyone was trying to check into the hotel the Front Desk staff was so incompetent that it took about an hour to get everyone sorted into their rooms at which time I had to be present Missing my own reception to facilitate this nightmare. Sadly from the manager himself all the way to the wait staff no one was able to help in anyway to make our day special.
