Staff were great. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value for money.
Bars could have opened earlier. Glass doors on toilet/shower make it very public when travelling with friends.
Atmosphäre
I liked the vibe if the hotel - modern and updated with nice amenities like the bar, restaurant, and snack store. The room was cozy, with big windows that made the space look bigger and brighter. Comfy bed. We booked after our flight was cancelled and we needed a place to stay last minute. The staff was so nice and helped us store our bags before and after check in while we explored around, killing time while waiting for our flight home. While the room was small, it was great for the unexpected extra night we had to stay in the city.
Bathroom left little privacy. The sliding door leaves gaps in-between the door and glass shower enclosure and wall so you can see into the toilet at the right angle. Fine for staying alone in a room, but if you like privacy when going be prepared to be in really close quarters.
Location and comfortable beds
No real wardrobe space, just a small hanging rail.
Bathroom has a sliding door but no real privacy- you have to be comfortable with whom you’re sharing with.
Location was mostly convenient. For the price it was a solid option.
I had stayed at the Arlo in Midtown previously and had found that hotel and the general experience to feel more elevated than this.
