Staff were knowledgeable at check in, location was great and very close to the British Museum. The lobby is very impressive but the self-serve check in isn't very easy to manage.
Only 1 pillow per person and they were flat and uncomfortable. The carpet was dirty in the hallway and room, and the shower wasn't great, it had a very small shower head and never heated up past cold. The TV has capabilities for Netflix, Prime, and Youtube (as shown on the TV remote) but no internet access. The elevator was also slow with a long wait, but that may just have been because we were on the 10th floor. For the price and elevated status of the room, I just expected more. Also, the hotel was confusing with its fees, I paid the full amount on booking.com and then when checking in, I have to check with a staff member that they weren't going to charge me again.

Une serviette par personne , ok, mais une petite serviette pour les mains aurait appréciable.
Savon pour les mains et savon dans la douche étaient vides.
11 € par sac pour le service de bagagerie à payer à l arrivée et pour le Check out sachant qu il faut quitter à 10h , je trouve cela exagéré.

Where do I start. I have stayed here before and sadly this hotel is no longer what it was, a new company own it and they are only interested in making money. I arrived early morning to be told you have to pay £40 to have a room earlier than the now set time of 3pm to check in and gain access to your room. At 3pm it was madness, too many people and hardly any staff. They also now want you to do self check out, while I queued to do this 2 separate parties came down to say they self checked in and went to the designated rooms to open the door to their room to find people were already in there, very safe!
Previously you would have your room, checked over, cleaned, new towels if needed, new toilet roll if needed and now they only clean your room on the 4th morning of a stay, so any shorter stay and you get no room check or clean, I arrived to one very thin towel, a toilet roll that was at least 2 thirds empty, you use to get a nice hand wash, shampoo and shower gel to use, these were all there but empty, I think due to the rooms being less cleaned my room was certainly not a clean as usual, scuffs and dirt on walls and carpet.
My 4th morning I was in the bedroom area and with no knocking at the door the cleaner burst my room open, sad sorry and vanished and never came back.
The worst-art was the weather was warm and they of course never empty your room bin, a fish salad that was 98% eaten with some left naturally start to smell and so that would have to stay in your room, not acceptable.
When I checked out the rude young women at the check out area barked at me to self check out, I refused and she gave me a dirty look, not at all professional.
I will not stay here again and have already booked a stay around the corner in a much better hotel, advise others to do so.
A real shame, this was once a hotel, it is now an expensive hostel at best.
Friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room & good breakfast.

Midden in de stad. Underground op 3 min. Goede uitvalsbasis. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Handdoeken en andere extra's kan je ten alle tijde vragen aan frontoffice.
We hadden opgeknapte kamer. Douche netjes. Koelkast en kluisje nieuw. Tv prima.
Kamer was niet echt schoon en alhoewel opgeknapte kamer was er een 140 cm 2 persoonbeds met metalen bed. Ligt niet echt komfortabel. Daar zouden ze dan nog iets meer aan mogen uitgeven.

Rooms not as advertised. No basic amenities. Lack of pillows, towels without having to ask. No telephones to contact reception. Lack of cleaning.
The staff is very nice and helpful. Location is central.
Stayed 5 days, first three days the room was so old the clothes started smelling in the 60s closet, no power outlets, needed to buy extension cable to have the phone near the bed. They didnt clean the room once! On the fourth day we asked to change the room, where they were nice to accept, the other room was nicer but still not so good. I would give 100 euros more and go somewhere else. Will not go back!
La ubicación era estupenda, cerca del Covent Garden, Picadilly Circus, etc. y con una parada de metro al lado.
El desayuno era bastante variado.
Sólo limpian las habitaciones cada 3 días y sólo te ponen toalla de ducha.
Cobran por absolutamente todo como una aerolínea low-cost, el early check-in hasta 40 libras, y al final la relación calidad-precio se resiente.
No encontramos ningún empleado que fuera agradable.
