Work trip
Pros:

It was a lovely space. I loved the nostalgic feel it gave me with the dressers and canopy beds without canopy. I loved the whirl bath.

Cons:

The stairs and there was no elevator. I had a large suitcase and carryon that I had to carry up those stairs which was tough. I feel people should be warned about that because if they are handicapped or elderly they could have issues. The place only had 2 towels and no wash cloths but luckily I carry my own when I travel. It didn’t warm up well in the space. Other then the address number and blue door it was hard to find because I was expecting a large sign out front and it to be a traditional hotel and not inn because name says hotel in it.

Historic Pleasure Near Philly's South Street
Pros:

Beautiful historic furnishings, comfortable beds, extremely spacious.. The hotel is located in a historic townhouse. The location was perfect for our visit to Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and within walking distance of Philadelphia's most historic neighborhoods. .There were good restaurants nearby, plus we were a couple of blocks from South Street. The management was very responsive to our questions.

Cons:

We liked everything about the hotel...it is not a full service hotel, but good meals and morning coffee are easily accessible.

Pros:

This is a beautiful property! The room was clean and self check-in was so easy. The innkeeper was so helpful answering my questions. Loved the location, we had a great stay and I highly recommend!

Great location but style over substance in some cases
Pros:

The location was great. Close to central but also quiet location with some great gems near by. The decor of course was stunning.
Great amenities in the rooms and extremely clean.

Cons:

The bed was SO creaky and loud, meaning we kept waking up every time one of us turned - really needs fixing as we did not get a good nights sleep at all.
Could do with a bigger bath towel & a hand/hair towel.
No room on the bedside tables due to massive lamps - would say sometimes it was style over substance in the room.

Pros:

Great location to see the liberty bell, museums, Phili Eagles game as well as a places to eat in the area. Beds were comfortable. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel
