Extended Stay America Select Suites - Ocala

I was legally robbed of 1102.00 for room 12 (now cleanest room in motel) I was falsely accused of damaging dry rotted old mop that took 3 hrs under water and bleach to clean to discover that it was likely the only time the moo had been used for years. Could not breath in rooms. Glass painted in orange stain as well as floors post bleaching twice. The ancient mop head had finally eroded and returned to backyard shed after usage.We we're still not refunded however was told my bank would cover return/refund.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. There is no front desk staff available from 10 PM to 10 AM, which is very inconvenient if you have any issues during those hours. Outside the hotel, especially around the entrance and parking lot, there were several people smoking and hanging around, which made us feel somewhat unsafe.

When we arrived at our room, our key card did not work. Once we finally got inside, we found that the room had a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator, but absolutely no plates, silverware, cookware, or even basic utensils. It makes very little sense to advertise a kitchenette when there is nothing provided to actually use it.

The bathroom had only one small bar of soap and two towels. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could literally feel the springs through the mattress. We had requested a double bed but were given a small full-size bed instead.

The room also had a strong urine/animal odor. It appears the hotel allows pets, and unfortunately, the room still smelled like one had been there. To make matters worse, we found cockroaches in the bathroom near the electrical outlets.

It was dirty. Had to pay for towels trade in. No maid service just to see if you need anything like, take out the trash. No ice machines on any floors. Floors & counter tops were dirty, there were no paper towels or anything to wipe it up. I used a wash rag and the staff kind of frowned on it. Other than that the stay was ok.

Tv did not work..bathroom was dirty..the room phone didn't work..I try calling front desk from 9am-1030am and couldn't get someone to answer the phone and the bed was squickie.

I was disappointed that the room had a major water leak coming from the air conditioning unit. Water continuously leaked onto the floor, creating a slip hazard and forcing us to use multiple towels to keep the room dry. This significantly affected our comfort and our ability to enjoy the stay. A hotel room should be clean, safe, and properly maintained, and unfortunately, this room did not meet those expectations

Too many random people around outside

Nothing was bad only the walls are very thin to hear others

The girl at the front desk was awesome

Didn't receive breakfast,stairwell completely smelled of urine,room was absolutely disgusting,sheets were filthy with stains,room had an odor.
