Everything was perfect

Extremely difficult to register using the ISARS conference registration that would have enabled a breakfast included option. Had to pay for breakfast in order to eat with my colleagues. On check in, assistant barely spoke English and kept saying "please wait." Her colleague was barely better -- and when I tried to explain I was with the conference and deserved a break-fast included option -- he managed to show me a list of colleagues who were not included in the breakfast -- but made it sound like I was seeing a list of everyone from the conference at the hotel. I panicked and thought I was in the wrong hotel because so many people were missing. It turned out that it was because he had deceived me about the breakfast option people who were in the hotel after all. This was all a misunderstanding, but in the process he also violated privacy by showing me the odd list of people not having breakfast. One colleague had so much trouble trying to register for the hotel through the conference discount that he gave up and went somewhere else. Service is almost non-existent in the hotel. For example -- help with bags.

It was very basic compared to what I expected. When I asked the front desk for some chopsticks they said they couldn’t provide them even though there’s a restaurant in the hotel. They said this is hotel policy but I found it strange for a 4 star hotel. The staff were very kind so I think it’s a management problem.

The location was great but the AC is centrally controlled so the room was warm, I can’t imagine how hot it could get in Summer. They provided a fan but if it was warmer this wouldn’t be enough.

The hotel itself is getting a bit run down- compared to when I stayed there 3 years ago I noticed the towels are quite worn out and things are scratched or damaged.

Кондиционер не работал вообще, в номере все время было душно при температуре 23-24 градуса. Представителями отеля было озвучено, что в здании работает централизованная система кондиционирования, но при попытке понизить температуру до 18 градусов (ниже система не позволяла) не происходило вообще ничего, в номере было также душно, и температура не менялась с 23-24 градусов. В ночи позвонили на ресепшен, объяснили проблему, пришел специалист, который что-то замерил в кондиционере, сказал, что все хорошо и он работает, но на самом деле это было неправдой. Через несколько минут без просьб сотрудник отеля принес вентилятор, что в том числе может говорить о том, что эта частая проблема в данном отеле. При заявленном уровне и стоимости отеля вентилятор и неработающий кондиционер - это явно не то, что ожидаешь получить в своем отпуске. В следующих 3 отелях в Корее такой проблемы не было вообще. Из-за этих проблем мы выехали из отеля на 3 ночи раньше запланированного отъезда.
