Everything about this place was wonderful. We arrived late at night and were welcomed by incredibly kind staff who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
The complimentary yoga classes are great and give you a taste of the early morning paid classes which are absolutely worth it. Such a wonderful way to start the day. We also loved the complimentary 30-minute activities offered most days, often cultural ones.
The pool area is relaxed, the surroundings are beautiful, and the overall vibe is very special. There is also a free shuttle into Ubud centre twice a day, which is very convenient. Breakfast with the view was great too.
Overall, a really lovely place to stay.

The ambience and greenery

This is my second 5-day retreat at Om Ham. The major items of this retreat included: 3 scrub + massages, 3 sound healing sessions (one at Ubud Aura, one at Pyramid of Chi, one at Om Ham itself as Sacred Chant Meditation), 1 temple meditation, 4 yoga classes, 1 mindful gardening with herbal tea making lesson, daily deep sleep tea, daily gentle stretch massage, a healthy detox menu and the room. Lots of my friends and colleagues are already saying that I seem happier after this trip!
10 Reasons why I chose to come back to Om Ham include:
1. Just the right combo of the nature and modern facilities - rice field view right opposite. I don’t want to stay in a typical hotel.
2. The facilities are just right within the resort, e.g. the spa room is just steps away from the reception, the yoga / meditation room is just right above our rooms.
3. An amazingly high degree of flexibility in rescheduling as per my activity preference and time preference, e.g. I prefer sound healing to yoga, and they had let me swap with no cost, I can book a massage just within a few hours, I can cut short or order the locations within my day tour booked with them.
4. The staff - always helpful, welcoming, smiling, speaking really good English (rare in Bali).
5. Wonderfully fresh food from their own farm opposite the road. The raw avocado cheesecake is one of the reasons why I came back!
6. Great location - 20 mins’ drive from Ubud city centre.
7. Free 11am send-off / 4:30pm pickup Ubud city centre shuttle included, as long as you book 1 day before. The airport drop-off driver (same guy I had in 2024) that they arranged externally speaks very good English and is really helpful, and has a nice car.
8. The fact that they do various reasonably priced tours to various locations, e.g. coffee plantation.
9. Reasonably priced. The rooms have good hygiene (not always the case in Bali), good air con.
